    it seems the model here is to generate short term capital by selling IPs for cash up front at cost on a single server. lets see how this plays out

    Which location is your server at? I definitely have seen a performance impact as more and more users have been added but nothing like what you seem to be seeing.

    Mine is in New York and the cluster I'm on appears to have 6 servers in it. What version of Proxmox do they run in Frankfurt? NY is running Proxmox 7.4-17. I seem to recall someone posting about some of their clusters running much older versions, maybe older hardware too.

    I ran a pcmark benchmark on my new windows 2022 VPS - was in the 3rd percentile... ran it on another comparitively specced windows VPS elsewhere I have score was 7 times higher...

    Now I'm on to Level 2 billing dept @ massive grid, let's see how quickly this gets refunded - that disk performance is the killer.

    If you have read peoples' comments on this and another massivegrid thread you would have avoided buying one from them. old hardware, oversold servers (with this promo), and bad network and I/O that what users got from this deal.

    Do you mind me asking who the provider is that scored 7 times higher, the specs of that VPS and how much it cost?

    Had many different VMs with them over many years, @SolidSeoVPS - 40GB SSD, 4 Core, 4GB RAM windows server 2022, $60 a year which I asked them to bill annually instead of $5 a month.. that was tedious for accounting..

    I would advise nobody to get this, they are overselling and as a customer I will no longer renew my service with them next month

    I have had VMs with SolidSeoVPS as well and I can't disagree with you, they are a wonderful provider. That said, they were significantly more than $0.49/month. :smiley:
