Yes, I've joined this party, and yes, for this moment I'm happy. With offers like these you know for sure that there is a "catch" somewhere, something that doesn't perform the same as a much pricier offer. Usually it is either disk performance, network performance, CPU steal, something like that.
For the use I have for this offer I don't need much of that - they are monitoring proxies, so basically when the network is working I'm OK. I already had the experience with this provider so I knew that the network was good enough for my liking - that's why I jumped on the train...
Just an FYI for anyone that purchased the 1 vCore XEON - 2 GB RAM - 32 GB H/A SSD VPS.
I ran YABS in both Debian 11 and Debian 12, the VPS performs over 10% better running on Debian 11.

My experience with MassiveGrid thus far (might help anyone still on the fence).
I signed up with them 2-3 weeks before they posted this LET deal thread. Even before this deal their prices were very competitive. That said, I knew a deal was coming but didn't know the specifics and was told that when it did come that I would be able to take advantage of it which did indeed turn out to be true (my billing was changed to the new lower price, I was given credit for the difference in price and a fourth year was added to my renewal date).
When I signed up accounts were not part of the HA cluster by default but you could request it which I did. Moving from a single server to the HA cluster didn't improve peak performance much but it did remove a lot of the performance dips you see from noisy neighbors on a VPS, so that was definitely a plus. So for about 3 weeks (again before this deal dropped) things were pretty great. Performance was better than most other competitors at this price point and everything seemed stable, I was happy.
Then came the flood of additional users from this LET post. I'm not going to lie, performance did drop (about 8% lower than the previous baseline I had prior to the deal being dropped). With all of the new users there are more frequent larger dips in performance too but with all of that said performance is still FAR better than most of the other sub $12/year options. I have many sub $12/year servers (that's the kind of servers I gravitate toward) to compare against too. Outside of performance one big advantage is how quickly they respond to tickets. In the $12/year space you can't really expect to be a top priority (rightfully so mind you) but MassiveGrid didn't seem to get that memo. They have one of the fastest support teams of any provider I've used regardless of the price point.
Now I can't predict the future so I can't say they won't deadpool on us at some point but until they do, I think they are a great option to consider for those like me looking for really cheap but solid performing VMs. I will continue to monitor performance as more and more users sign up but they have said that they will keep adding more servers to the cluster so that performance never gets much worse and if that holds true they will continue to get a recommendation to buy from me.

It looks rather crowded here. After long time lurking I had to register and share here because the steal is 5-10% and there are some iowait spikes too. It's even worse than iHostart storage VPS (steady around 2.5%) so that's saying something. This is the last 24 hours with idling (only Hetrixtools working), so the load is coming from other users, not me:
You get what you pay for. Cheap IP and sluggish oversold server. So is it really worth it saving couple bucks?
