Well, is every user and order number real, or mostly faked to gain the high traffic?
The hard drive speed is OK.Here is the test results.

It's an interesting question; given that the majority of them are brand new users, I'm mildly cynical - but let's imagine they're all legit, that's a ton of servers that now need to run for 4 years with no more income.
That's sailing into 'lifetime' territory, and history isn't kind to those.

Some information about our Infrastructures
Clusters
We use High Availability Multi-Master Clusters without single point of failure in all our regions for all our products (VPS / VDS / Hosting, etc).
These are Clusters that are designed to have redundancies in 2 levels, one at the Hardware Level and the other at the Virtualization Level. All aspects of the infrastructure are covered, computing, storage and network.
For the storage, we use High Availability on CEPH with Datacenter grade SSDs at a triple replication architecture across all nodes.
Storage performance
We have limits on Storage performance to make sure that the performance is adequate for the majority of the use cases for a VPS and at the same time is stable and predictable.
Why we have this strategy on Storage performance:
During our 21 years in the industry, we've observed many times the problems of "busy neighbor". The same way a VPS has limits on CPU and RAM, the same way we implement limits on Storage resources to prohibit some users consuming all the storage performance causing issues on other users.
Storage performance is: 1000 IOPS on read, 1000 IOPS on write, 150 MB/sec on read, 150 MB/sec on write. Our VDS offer (is being planned) will have 5000 IOPS for more demanding use cases and we also plan to allow for more if someone needs it.
We prefer to have this strategy and offer consistent performance for the majority of the use cases for a VPS, rather than to leave it open for any VPS to be able to impact the performance on all the others.
Scalability
Our clusters scale both vertically and horizontally increasing the total capacity as more users join from LET but also from all other channels. As an example, our next upgrade is in Frankfurt in which we'll add 3 more nodes (horizontal expansion).
LET offer
For our first time at LET we designed the best possible offer we could think of and actually it's the best offer we've ever made in our 21 years in the industry. We plan to give as much capacity as we can for LET users - for now the offer is still open.
I think they are planning to build a user base and then upsell them dollar by dollar with more tempting offers.
