I am not a baby boomer. I am part of the millennial generation. I do feel old though if it makes you feel better with regards to boomer assumption.

Run code-server on your vps (or your android phone in Termux) and use ipad for programming all day long.

Interesting, cause I find it not possible to connect to open-vsx from the VPS (1111 IIJ) located in Tokyo when using code-server. It says

PING open-vsx.org (198.41.30.195) 56(84) bytes of data.
From eclipse.dev (198.41.30.195) icmp_seq=1 Destination Port Unreachable
From eclipse.dev (198.41.30.195) icmp_seq=2 Destination Port Unreachable

Must be some routing issues, I presume. A code-server without plugins is frustrating, though.
