I forgot the name before hotlineservers.
3 brands 3 exit(or scam)
the scam isn't dead at all... if he deleted his server.
W8 4 BF
Just wanted to point out that the trustpilot review stating he was dead was removed / deleted. Also, my ticket was closed recently, and theres always a 24 hour auto response close message, except this time there wasn't.
If you think of the name of the first one, let me know. I intend to advise the Chicago FBI by the end of the week.
, 10Gbps Unmetered Port for US$ 7.25/month each?
what ? who offers 10Gbps unmetered for that much.
Im sorry but this seems like nothing but ad, I doubt you can peg it and have 10Gbps sync link
If the servers I had were still up, I'd show you the YABS verifying > 5Gbps up/down. It was the whole reason I went with @Madcityservers in the first place. But as @MikeA mentioned, he was probably selling for a loss, which lines up with the fraud intention (assuming he is still alive).
those speeds unlimited is just too good to be true type of offers.
I wouldn't bother chasing these sort of deals, they are not real
US 10Gbit unmetered dedi is at least $500/m.
I think when I bought from MCC, it was still 1gbit unmetered. I was one of the few customers that was pretty heavy in terms of bandwidth usage. Brian worked with me and moved me across dedis a couple times to help balance the load. Most providers would've suspended me. He let me continue to use his servers for a bit until he suggest that I buy a dedicated server from RS.
What providers did you end up going with?
I'm sorry, my friend. I wrote the Trustpilot review out of frustration after my server had been down for three days. When I saw this forum, I realized that my review had been used as a source, so I deleted it.
Now that I've lost all my data, there's nothing I can do, as I didn’t make any backups. I had been using the service for about 11 months, during which I purchased several annual VPS plans. Unfortunately, I was only able to get a refund for one through PayPal, but my server’s data is gone forever.
I support the claim that this is indeed a scam, and I hope to recover the data from my VPS.
I have 12 hosts with them and I highly doubt his previous medical notice was an attempt to delay our bill beyond the appeal period. PayPal does not accept my refund request.
I had a server with MCC as well. Went down last Weds and never came out. Their website is still up and I bet still taking on clients. Pure scam. I had backups, so didn't lose much. I have my own homelab on 10gbit switch with 3gbit Fiber. I only used the server because I needed a dedicated ip for mail hosting, rdns, running my own vpn and some other stuff. I was paying $10 for 2vcpu 7950x, 6gb ram and I think 150gb ssd. I now have a cheaper 4vcpu Epyc zen2, 8gb ram, and 100gb nvme for 6euro in Germany.
Could you please share the hosting company you purchased from? I'm now barely running my business on other hosts. I'm still looking for a better alternative.
If you want something in the US you can DM me your requirements or plan you had with MCC and I can probably help keep it similar or the same. US locations mostly run a mix of Ryzen 9 (newer only 7900). https://extravm.com/billing/looking-glass.php
A similar offer with AMD EPYC VDS is on the previous page: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4042320/#Comment_4042320
Except that the EPYC cores (and other resources) are dedicated, which should be a pro, since you're looking for better performance.
I thought so too, maybe a scam
