No. Probably a scam.
Do we need a new forum thread about this offer?
A thread about thread?
Wait until I create a thread about this thread
Probably oversell the resource, not accusing, but likely
We must go deeper
Quick cash grab and to boost customer base?
lease of IPv4 cost more than $0.49
I disagree on the the probably part.
short term loss is ok, if the long term goal is likely to yield profit.
consider the scenario of increasing the business valuation (for sale)
haha,It's the first time I've seen such a low price.

I disagree and think "maybe a scam" but I see clear signs for "milking nodes to the maximum" i.e. a not uncommon approach in the super-LE market, so probably not a scam. But of course one doesn't get much out of such a VPS - which for me is OK because I basically got my @MassiveGRID promo VPS mainly for "fire and forget (for some years)" quite modest usage (in my case a NS slave or something like that).
The real question IMO is whether that service/those VPS really will stay up and running for 3 or 4 years and without major problems, downtimes, etc.
And I also think that many here ignore, don't know, or gravely underestimate the problem of visibility, which IMO is at least one major reason for doing that promo. "Enter with a big flash bang and fireworks" - and with that they certainly succeeded.
So I guess that sometimes soon we'll see more offers from them, not super-super-cheap but reasonably priced (as opposed to their ridiculously high former pricing).
That's perfectly fine. More opportunity for me to complain. One should seize the day - you never know when it will be the last time.
Pointless thread. OP please post responsibly
