DDOS protected hosts in DE/AT

I have been hosting gaming/communication services for a while now, migrating hosts often.
I have always struggled to find a host provider with a good DDOS protection and I cannot use cloudflare because I cannot proxy these service through them.
I will list out some of the large hosts I tried - OVH (basically their filter is almost worthless, almost every attack has brought my servers offline), Netcup (blackholes 0.0.0.0:[attacked port] on more serious attacks), Oneprovider (DDOS protection non-existant), Hetzner (very long filtering delay)
I am currently with TropicSolutions - they seem to be the only ones actually blocking these attacks, however their hardware is really old at this point (Xeon E5-2695 V2).
So I am looking for something in the EU (preferably in Austria or Germany) with a high quality DDOS protection, it does not have to be cheap - I am completely fine paying more to get a higher quality experience.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
