following up to our email a week ago, we are now announcing a time window to switch over to our new Core-Routing Stack.
We hereby announce this 24h before as also mentioned in last email.
As mentioned our new Core consists of a Juniper MX960-PREM3 (2+1 Redundant Routing and Switchboards) and a Stack of Arista Switches to expand in the future and meet the demand in our network. As well as add multiple additional upstreams with BGP Full tables and offer you the best network possible...
Our old Cisco Catalyst 6509 router will be wiped out. For this we need arround 15-30minutes.
The way our Network is organized will Change. Also we will start using N * 100G LACP Transit Ports instead of N * 10G LACP to our upstream
Maintenance START: 10th October 2024 - 21:00 CET (Amsterdam)
Maintenance END: 10th October 2024 - 21:30 CET (Amsterdam)
After this upgrade we will add another transit with 100G. 144 Servers are also coming for restock in 2-3 weeks.
We apology upfront if there is some small "hiccup" in the said maintenance windows. However dont panic if your service is unreachable for 10-15minutes. (30min worst case).
All is under control and careful planned for months now.

But regarding our new Uplinks The MX960 was pissing on us. We plugged back to Cisco Over The night.

Yes i have explained to you before. We are full/planned out, whatever you might call it. We can not offer what you asked. DC FUll. We are full. We need a new batch of Racks. It takes until they expanded the datacenter.
that's why the service is expensive, 30%, the cost of driving a car and renting apartments "just kidding"
Any info on when VPS will be back?
Been down since friday.
Probably never, I have webs in 3 vps and I am already looking for another option, it is unbelievable the downtime the last 7 days, more down than online.
It gives me a headache too. I went with them for good reviews. My VPS SSD on HostSlick crashed a week ago, so did a complete restore. Now there is this new issue with the upgrade/downtime.
mine got suspended since Friday for using the whole bandwidth in 10 days or so buy, I don't almost anything on it.... opened a ticket nothing.... I will also start change the VPS with something else on BF
Everything running fine Network wise. Via The new Network Stack and MX960. Just some prefix-list config for ipv6 needs some changes.
Some clients using our dedicated Servers already Reported boost in Network Performance which is as expected
Otherwise only some issues at VPS on one black friday 2023 node, im fixing asap using Remote hands as im not near Datacenter anymore. This node cause alot of Tickets we need go trough. node decided to screw me the same time
