  • The customisation window said "within 24h" instead of the usual within 120s, so I'd argue it's actually restock instead of people dropping...

It always say that when the stock is low. If checkservers shows a LOW availability, the website will show 24h, and if checkservers shows a HIGH availability, the website shows 120s.

So if one server is put back in the pool when someone cancels it, checkservers.ovh will show LOW availability, the website will show 24h, but if you are the first to act, the server is yours immediately.

Ah, good to know. Seems weird to do it like that, though.

Could also be worth noting, there is a week (at minimum, possibly longer) delay between a server being 'deleted' from the old customer, and being put into the pool as it goes through a 'recycling' process.

Also, if you have an account in OVH CA, and order a server in the EU (LON/GRA/RBX/SBG/FRA/WAW) then it takes ~10 minutes for the server to be allocated to you after the payment is validated. So if someone with an OVH EU account orders within that 10 minute window, and the payment is validated, the server is theirs and the other orders gets sat waiting for more stock.

OVH KS-2 | Available in Poland (Warsaw - WAW) datacenter

    Processor: Intel Xeon-D 1540 - 8c/16t - 2GHz/2.6GHz
    Memory: 32GB DDR4 ECC 2133MHz
Storage: 4× 2TB HDD SATA Soft RAID
    Bandwidth: 300Mbit/s unmetered

Canada also Available. GOOD LUCK. B)

How to tell if you have joined the 16TB Club? You can check it when you install the system. For the network, you need to enter the rescue system or installation system.

If you are not satisfied, you can submit a ticket for a refund, but it is not recommended that you use it too many times.

It’s not available at the moment; the price you're seeing is for Asia/Australia.

KS-3 price is only $21 for servers located in Europe, all European KS-3's are out of stock currently so it is changing to the Oceania location which costs much more.

  • Lol, doesn't making any sense :D

OVH ECO servers located in Europe or North America are cheap.
OVH ECO servers located in Asia or Oceania are more expensive.

If you want a cheap price, select a server in either Europe or North America.

That's not ECO then. Haha, OVH is interesting in just showing pricing on their website :D

    what

The new order page automaticaly sets up a RAM/disk/network (everything if possible to change) combo if the base config is not available. So it is important to avoid the old order practice where configurations was always fix and there wasn't any risk if you clicked order without reading. Currently it requires more attention.
