Yea those have been the miner blockhain guys, one user had started blockchain nodes on 26 VMs with us at the same time.
Thanks! We will keep our efforts up and high
But i am sure that you are not interested in that, therefore please explain to me what i can do for you.
---> stay cool and have a beer. we wanted to do it anyway when it suits.
(and as they say in germany, don't jump over every stick)
therefore i don‘t quite understand your needs, we can offer a dedicated genoa node just for you alone with one 4 core and 16gb memory vm on it for your benchmark. With booked management by us you will even have the posibilty to use our CEPH cluster.
---> for 4,95€/month? i am interested!
there are still +50 vms that we need to suspend which participate in this kind of abuse by limiting the load they cause with their blockchain and mining apps to constant 90, 80, 70% and so on.
---> take action!
I hope you can handle Ticket#206670 in your free time. I want to deploy my project as soon as possible. Thanks
Would be awesome not?
I have to admit that i am a rather emotional kind of person, what i also like to express as far as possible in a professional environment.
As you are now aware of that, i ask you kindly to please refrain from posting such comments. Even if i truly believe you that you are just joking i don’t feel comfortable with that. We are very concerned about ensuring a high quality experience and therefore don’t like to joke about such things.
Thank you for your understanding, looking forward to meet you.
Sure i will let a colleague quickly prioritize your issue as we wrote personally and the fact that i am at the datacenter currently
Same here. I just got my server recently so I can't tell about the longterm performance but my average steal is <2% only spiking while running the geekbench (ran it 3 times). So I can't complain. It's probably the normal behaviour of people testing their new vms including some abusers. I am confident this will normalize and improve within the next weeks as soon as abusers get kicked out and others may start to let their vps idle.
But keep in mind: These are already great values for a budget offer.
All good. I am more than happy with my vm. I am running a Proxmox Node for several small containers and vms and will probably never even get close to 25% CPU usage so I don't expect to run in any problems in the near future.
Satisfactory. From purchase to startup, there were no obstacles, and the actual performance of the VPS configuration is very good. It's just a pity to have missed out on the AMD EPYC 9554, which is disappointing, but overall it's great.
Just ordered another one.
Despite the recent comments, I've got another 9554 (Genoa).
I've only had to open one ticket so far which was dealt with promptly and professionally.
My first YABS was on PH24-53 (hostsystem). This is on PH24-54. Still solid considering cost performance ratios.
Single Core | 1323 Multi Core | 4199Is the provided IPv6 /64 subnet routed? Thank you.
Ordered myself one as well. Went to top up the exact amount via PayPal and I ended up 0.01 short....
I sure love rounding!
I ended up on a Milan node so I guess it's out of sheer luck.
To be honest, Milan's aren't so bad. + even with Milan's this offer is still rare!
We just deployed a script to prod > @MaxTakeba said:
We are working on a new backend
Does anyone know how to test whether the UDP speed is normal? I feel that my UDP speed is very slow. Does anyone have a good way to test it? Speedtest test speed is normal
Hi, please check Support ticket #206752. Why 7 of my VPS are down without any notification????? It's been 16 hours now!
We will answer soon enough, there are curently a lot services suspended due to high sustained CPU load caused by blockchain applications.
Your queue position will reset on update and has been reseted now because of you asking
@mrsilent wasn't silent enough!
I am currently checking the effects
Dear,
Please check Ticket#206768
Thank you
Awesome, no need for that cache eating crypto stuff in the neighbourhood. If suspending brings to much trouble and crying, probably lock them all together on one single same "crypto" node 😅
😂
That's not a good solution as some of those vms burst read very frequently to 700MB/s. Even if only 20 of those vms are running we are talking about 14GB/s peak read per host.
That would saturate two 100GbE Interfaces just for storage. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
This type of workload is not bad per se, but it doesn't fit the characteristics of shared hosting at all.
I see. New business model: sell cores as dedicated, limit IO to 50MB/s, profit 😁😅
(And maybe pull one of those storage links, just for safety reasons)
The server is renewed at 10/5 and suspended at 10/5.
I open tick and ask how average usage of CPU is be accepted.
If you tell me average usage of CPU is 12% . I can adjust workload.
If you tell me that it all up to you. I can accept it too.
I follow the rules, I just want to know the rules.
Prob the best purchase of the year, needed an instance for wedding photos (almost 2k) that would use AI to self tag people.
Working great.
Immich?
I'm sorry to say this, but you're crazy if you believe your accusation that the service renewal date has anything to do with your service suspension date. We've had enough of users like you, just do us a favour and request a refund.
We can't give you an answer to your question because the workload is very different and caping cpu load to 50% with the exact same use case and application will probably not be enough in some cases. But you don't trust us anyway, so move on and let us do our job without having to deal with such nonsense.
Thank you
Thank you, it was a pleasure doing business with you.
