Torrenting is fine, sharing copyright protected content over the web/ftp is not.

It is not recommended. Highly not recommended.
Not recommended from my experience either. If you download public torrents and it generates a copyright notice, the server will be suspended, and you’ll be forwarded the notice and required to remove the content. Basically, ‘legal torrents’ only, which literally every other provider here allows.
