I need 5-10Gbps Unmetered Cheapest Server

ProttoyABProttoyAB Member
edited October 2024 in General

I don't need a high-end server; I only need an affordable 5-10 GBIT/PS port Speed. The cheapest price is fine; even if the server is 2 cores, 8 GB is fine.

I am using hetzner shared server, which port is 1gbit.

    It is.
I would pay much more alone for 1 GBits of traffic.

If you are looking for a provider that really allows unlimited traffic, you should be prepared to spend more money or specify how much traffic you actually need in addition to the port speed.

  • There is no way you are expecting real unmetered 5-10 Gbit/s for under 50$ lol

We do have cheap 10 Gbps VPS's starting from 3,6 EUR/month, with hourly billing as well.

By default we offer 10TB of bandwidth with all vm's, but we can add further 10TB free of charge upon request.

You can take a look: https://cloudblast.io/pricing

  • VPS:

    Layer7 — €12.50 / month
    4 Intel Cores (shared)
    16384 MB RAM
    100 GB NVMe
    100 TB/month bandwidth
    5.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4 + IPv6
    Hosted in France

Similar specs by Aquatis and Oplink in the US, or by Aeza with half bandwidth and half price in Europe. All affiliated results here.

Make sure your budget/funds are also "unmetered" if you're really looking for "5-10Gbps Unmetered"

    hahaahhaha

  • "10gbit unmetered cheap" doesn't go well together. you'll be lucky to find a 10gbit port with 100tb traffic for under $60.

    Hi,

    with this kind of budget:

    • Buy more hetzner shared server's
    • Configure a loadbalancer to send the requests shared to the different hetzner servers

    There wont be anything cheaper.

If you want one provider to give you one 5 or 10 or what ever Gbit line, then you will face MUCH higher prices ( different universe ) compared to some hetzner 1G line.

Same would do hetzner if you ask them for an unmetered 5 or 10G line ;-)

And they wonder why Low end providers go out of business, and then complain when a business goes defunct in one night and lose everything....$10 a month 10G unmetered 🤣 I wonder why a business that has to pay fees, salaries, taxes, can't give me what I want at unsustainable pricing 🤦🏻‍♂️

It exists. But only download up to 10 GBit with 1.8-2 GBit upload. Unmeteted for 1€/m
I once peaked 120TB in a month with a single server but usually average about 20-50TB per month.

We offer dedicated servers with 10gbps unmetered ports, starting at $549/mo - but it comes with truly unmetered bandwidth that you can use.

59 won't even cover just the network fee in its own aside of all other margins

    Exactly.

    Which one?
I heard multiple stories that IONOS throttled them, no such story from Strato so far. Is it Strato?

  • I remember Buyvm had a program that would upgrade to 10G ports after about how many days of holding the VPS.

So if you buy their KVM 8GB and hold it for a few months it is possible to get this. Friendly reminder that they're $30 a month.

It's not really unlimited traffic, but I think unless you're too noisy for your neighbors, they might be willing to turn a blind eye.

Dunno where you heard that. Never experienced any issues nor did I hear such stories.
