WTB vps for private vpn - need recommendations
Hi,
need a small vps. Will use it for a private vpn. If the kids download something they shouldn't, I want to route all their internet traffic through this vpn server beforehand. Location must be europe. It will run 3x-ui or something similair so old and not powerful hardware is totally fine. Traffic will be in the two or three-digit gigabyte range and that is already a very generous estimate.

There's a lot. I personally only need 0.5TB per month
But the purchase costs more, including taxes. This is not what I want to see, I think 13 euros and should not pay more!
I used to get $1-4 per year super cheap VPS deals. 5gb storage was already overkill. Most. Gave 10-20gb. Always 128-512gb ram in this “deal” range.
These ran softether vpn just fine for me. No issues ever but I didn’t regular wipes with updates. Stale software and servers are prone for issues.
Where to get deals? Hold on, wait for Black Friday. Trust in @crunchbits to deliver. Crunchy nodes are larger but still great deals. Others will have $1-10 per year range prob for 2025 BF for a good cheap VPN.
I wonder if you can use NAT for this. Haven’t tried myself.
I have one server with them and 2 web hosting packages, but I don't like their not very professional support and their answer at all

if you do some nws.sh your vps can also be put on pause/ suspension from time to time and beware, if you pay via paypal/paddle you get double-vated!!!
