Looking for Hetzner AX162-R alternatives

https://www.hetzner.com/dedicated-rootserver/ax162-r/ looks good for me spec wise. But I'd like to have some equivalent (esp. RAM) alternatives in APAC and NA that are priced not more than 10% higher. I could compromise on CPU specs to include EPYC 7003, 8004 series that are reasonable priced as well. KVM console access is required.

  • Hello,
in which datacenter did you need? it's hard found better price of hetzner...

  • Hetzner is really, really, really cheap by most standards. Not sure if you gonna get one but I'm interested to know if there's any provider that can offer something.

There was recently a thread about this, but for the EU.

Nothing with the same value (give or take 10 %) was mentioned IMO.

Looks like hostkey is actually a better deal ($360 vs 446) for me for RAM/$ at 512GB for CPUs that meet my requirements: https://hostkey.com/dedicated-servers/4th-gen-amd-intel/

What are some of the other similar providers that could meet the above requirements?

Don't care about specific data centers but regions. I need options in EU, APAC and NA regions for now.

Good starting price with APAC and NA data centers. RAM/$ at 512GB ($435) is better than Hetzner as well.

  • Are they any specific (esp. BM related) reasons? I won't be doing anything controversial and unreasonable in terms of resources.

$380 for 512GB with 7003 series is OK but not cheap compared with the rest with 9004 series.

Looks like they only have one data center with Skylink NL.

hostkey seems to be the best deal for me in EU so far.
