Yep but i think that if the thread will be created before the offer, we can bookmark it so we have the email notification. If they'll create the new thread when launching the new offer i can't receive any notification about it.

I always allow 1 certain IP in the firewall then connect with my VPN to server, so it automatically blocks all.
There is IPban, but I also prefer this approach of allowing only certain IPs to connect to RDP in addition to changing the port and username.

Yep, there. But if accessing from random IPs is needed, makes sense to have such a script.

we changed the name to CHAT ( and Chit-Chat ) for this, as we will will use it for further chats on storage services and other related.

We did this as I know most have bookmarked it, so they can know about the news.

So, let the "people" chat/complain/praise/mock as that is fun , and just wait the next one out.

In all fairness, I never even realized any issues with it while it was "faulty"

It was enough that we were aware, and in all fairness, we took action accordingly.

We still have one customer to migrate off it, and then I’ll finally get to take that thing apart to see what went wrong and why.

OK fellas, some news regarding the latest modifications we did on our platform:

Standard VPS Services ( not storage )

We've added the option to include high monthly transfer to VPS services.

Those that have the Dyson S can benefit from this for example

All VPS Services:

You can now add up to 8 GB of RAM per VPS, in addition to the base amount provisioned with the product. This applies to all our VPS services, including storage and promo plans.

VPS services ( from the Red dwarf upwards ) can now add add-on drive up to 20 TB

Pay Pal Payments:

We have decommissioned the old PayPal module and implemented a new one. Please keep an eye on your service expiration dates, as auto-payments from the old module could not be imported. Once you make a payment with the new module, everything will return to "normal-ish"

Stripe

We parted ways with stripe as we head enough of their late problems and discomfort for our customers.

We wil implement a replacement soon.

Account Security

We set up 2FA to be mandatory and implemented hCaptcha

If you're having trouble logging in, please open a ticket on our website. We understand this can be frustrating, but after a few account hijack incidents, this security measure became necessary to ensure your safety and maintain a secure environment for your services

Am I using the old or the new PayPal system ?

If I used the old one I would have expected these 2 things to happen as outlined in the email
1. It would have been decommissioned in my billing portal
2. I would have gotten an email from PayPal on September 27 stating it had been cancelled.

Neither of these things have occurred . I still see paypal active on hostc and on paypal.

@jperkins - we just answered the ticket.

We had both version of PP Gateway running side by side as we tried to migrate the subscriptions from the old one to the new one.

Old module was inactive on order forms, but processed initial payments.

You signed with us recently and you payed via the new version , hence you did not get a notification as you were not affected by the decommissioning of the old module.
