Thanks for the suggestion
I already have sg servers but wouldn't hurt to have more
Would stay away from them. Unprofessional. Absolute fucking shitshow.
Wow really? Thanks for the heads up.
@balramm has indian servers.
Yep. Bought a VM and a 24c48t/256GB RAM Dedi at Dallas in August.
Took them 3-4 days to set the dedi up with the advertised /29 and a /64 after provisioning the server - on my dime and time. Any reasonable host would have automatically adjusted the billing period to make up for the delay.
After that, their OS re-installation panel was discovered to be borked. Another couple of days gone over this, until they sent the iLO credentials to let me install the OS while they figured shit out at their end. Their 'promise to revert' is more like a 'YOU follow-up after 48h at the very least' - contrary to what they commit to in the support ticket.
Try seeking a 'pro-rated' refund for shitty service directly as account credit - No, sorry. They like to hold on to your money while they peddle substandard shit and try to pass it on as 'service'.
Lastly - the cherry on top. The server was provisioned with a single PSU with alerts galore in ILO. As luck would have it, the power got disrupted and took them about a day to figure the issue out and get the server back online. (Hello redundant power supply?)
All in all, the dedi was unstable AF. My monitoring agent lit my phone up on an almost daily basis. Post this ordeal, I just decided to suck it up, cut my losses and GTFO to end the month long nightmare that was @kuroit. Never ever experimenting with new providers again.

I can provide the full ticket conversation if needed, but to clarify: you ordered both an SG-AVA-1 and a TX-256 server (with a 50% discount applied), and both were activated promptly after payment. You consistently received responses within 30-60 minutes, and the only instance we missed updating you was during the downtime caused by a PDU failure, which took longer for the data center to resolve (LevelOneServers).
Additionally, the minor disruptions you experienced were due to ongoing DDoS attacks on our upstream provider, which was LevelOneServers and is now PureVoltage. Throughout this period, we were transparent about our situation.
I can also provide the Hetrix report of your downtime, which you shared with us. If you review the total downtime, it amounts to less than 24 hours, yet we still offered you a two-day credit or extension.
I apologize that our service did not fully meet your expectations. However, we always strived to resolve issues as quickly as possible and provide solutions promptly.
If you'd really like to post the ticket here, go right ahead. I don't care as long as you redact the personal info.
Also, if you're somehow implying that the 50% discount code that YOU voluntarily offered should somehow reflect towards the general stability and usability of the service and associated support - that says a lot more about the way you view your clients, customer service, LET as the community that you share your offers on & lastly, your business.
Now, if you read closely, I never had an issue with automated provisioning of services.
The issue stemmed from the server lacking a /29 AND /64 at the time of provisioning - making it simply unusable from 15th Aug to 17th Aug till the /64 was assigned. The server may have very well been offline, and I wouldn't have cared.
Post IPv6 connectivity on 17th, installing and configuring the server, I started to notice random disconnections due to which I set 24x7 monitoring up with Hetrix around the 21st of August - coincidentally the day before the major outage (21st Aug).
Over the course of next 10 days, you will notice that the downtime frequency does not look good for a dedi (50% discount code or not). Not to mention the radio silence from 21st Aug till 2nd Sep after the initial interaction about the power issue.
It was only after waiting for well over a week that I finally responded to the ticket pointing out the lack of communication with random downtimes and a request for a Pro-rated refund in the form of Account credit to renew the VM at-least; A logical and a reasonable request, IMO. Post receiving your response in the negative, I simply gave up. Deleted the SSH credentials and monitoring at my end and called it a day without harping on about the experience nor the chump change I spent with you.
What I did today was share my honest feedback about the service or lack thereof, on a [REQ] topic, when your company was mentioned. I can only hope you improve upon the highlighted points. If posting my ticket here helps you do that, as mentioned above, go right ahead and knock yourself out.
