As mentioned before, upgrades are handled on a first-come, first-served basis and are available in limited quantity.
We respond to tickets as we fill up the server.
There's no need to reply with 'wait your turn,' as we do not have an ETA for the upgrades.
However, there will be a second round of upgrades, and based on the current requests, we believe we’ll be able to accommodate everyone.
Same with my ticket
We are pushing the node as much as possible, also we’re maintaining a limit to ensure we don’t trash everyone’s performance.
if someone does not need the server i am ready get it at any time
Hope the next big storage servers sale will come soon
Hello @host_c, just an info about the next sale. Will you open a new thread or notify here of any availability? I don't wanna miss next round...

i wonder what makes the GB result kinda similiar?
https://browser.geekbench.com/processors/intel-xeon-gold-6148
https://browser.geekbench.com/processors/intel-xeon-e5-2690-v4
Geekbench doesn't show or test the new things it can do. Also the CPU are only a year apart in terms of age.
Example in why the GB score isn't perfect.

Intel® AVX2
So no differences at all.
If you put EPYC I will switch immediately
Pretty much. Unless you can use the new CPU features like the new AVX extensions.
Bro is asking for imaginary request, Xeon Gold is enough for a storage VPS. What are you going to try with EPYC on 2GB RAM? Honestly, I had enough of your nonsense around the forum
I just put in my request as i just saw this hope there is room for one more! Excited for the updates and offers!
hi @host_c,
currently i subscribe 3TB service. i missed this offer which is 5TB. is it possible i can get 5TB upgrade, where i see my subscription fee is still higher than this one?
Open a ticket, we see where we go from there
Will just add something to this,
please, please, please
add your add-on drives by UUID not /dev/sdX in /etc/fstab
On a power off / node upgrade / OS upgrade there is a very high chance on boot the VPS will not mount the add-on drive and the consequence will be a ticket with : hey man, shit ain't working anymore.
For beginners we recommend cockpit, but hey, 10 minutes of reading over google will solve it manually also.

As usual,
HOST-C
Any idea how much RAM would be needed to run a Win Server OS smoothly or would you mind linking the screenshots if you can find them easily? I'm assuming it would be more than the 2GB that was the default amount in the VPS. Thanks.
1 picture = 999 words
@dev_vps and @jsg - as you kinda benchmark stuff around here.
We did some tests on the new nodes today.
This is a YABS + TOP so we can measure CPU steal ( if any ), we are quite sensitive to that
Node usage under YABS-sing the hell out of it from 3 VPS + running customers.
Not bad may I say, or?????

if you are running Windows RDP
What are you talking about, you can scale up, 2gb what ? And if you have enough your life it's in your control hahaha
I always allow 1 certain IP in the firewall then connect with my VPN to server, so it automatically blocks all.
what happens if that ip address is changed or worse down for many days.
Moreover I am running a cyber security project.
I have a backup one offcourse, you can put how many you like, currently I have 2. And is worse cause I can always access it trough the console in the panel from the provider.
There is IPban, but I also prefer this approach of allowing only certain IPs to connect to RDP in addition to changing the port and username.
Yes, this is what I ment
@host_c is it possible to create an annuncement thread only for current/future offers? I've bookmarked this thread waiting for the new offers but i receive tons of emails about chit-chat which is annoying. Thank you
