Hey, not entirely sure if this is allowed but I wanted to share my great experience with Microtronix DC (microtronixdc.com).
In late-April, I decided to do my first colo and went on LET to see if there were any reputable providers who weren't that expensive either. Found Microtronix, viewed their page and decided to give it a shot. Made the ticket and was provided with thorough instructions on how to configure my server prior to shipping.
The server arrived at Microtronix damaged (provided extensive proof with pictures) and was prompted with what I wanted to do. Asked what they recommended and was provided with some options. I was advised that they could try to get the server to mount if it boots, so I opted-in for that option. Ended up working out and they got it set up! I will add that they also suggested that I could get in contact with the carrier and make a claim.
Outside of the issue that they handled perfectly in my opinion, I haven't run into any network performance issues. I ended up shipping another server there and they had no issue with adding them both to an internal network.
This may be the de facto standard when doing colos, I wouldn't know considering I'm brand new to this, but I have had absolutely 0 complaints when working with them. Very accomodating and a very great first impression to colos. My primary reason for making this account was to just give them a good review.
