VPS for Minecraft Proxy – DDoS Protection
Hi all,
We're currently searching for a VPS server to run a Minecraft proxy, and we're looking for the following specs:
Minimum 8GB RAM
Preferably a newer Ryzen CPU for better performance
Strong DDoS protection to safeguard against attacks
Location: Ideally in Poland or Germany to keep latency low
Bandwidth: Either unlimited or with a very high cap
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Sorry why does what I assume is a BungeeCord proxy require 8 gigabytes of ram?
We are using our own proxy software, and there will be more than one instance running on this server. That's why we require at least 8 gigabytes of RAM to ensure optimal performance and stability for all the instances.

Checkout eugamehost.com they have path DDoS protection in Germany
Recommend prepaid host; memory is quite low (2c 6g for 6€/mo, 4c 16g for 10€) but I think it has decent pricing. The server is located in Germany and uses EPYC 7443. 550 Gbps DDoS protection is provided.
GB6 single was 1100; traffic is fair use, but it seems that using more than 50 TB is allowed at least (according to their recent message).
I’m running several MC servers using Velocity Proxy, which has secure options (secret key and supports proxy protocol). I'm just curious as to why you would develop and use your own proxy.
I would prefer to avoid that protection, as it has caused me too many issues.

Have you looked at https://tcpshield.com/ or anything similar? You can still setup your proxy behind it. It just wouldn't need the DDoS protection as tcpsheild would handle it. They ran the 1k Minecraft server on it (Folia), unsure if they ever got hit, but tcpsheild was handling it fine as they were sending out 2gbps of data to players.

Unfortunately, 5TB of bandwidth is a bit too low, so I’ll have to pass on this offer.
If something on GSL's network will work for the DDoS protection I can do something in Amsterdam on E-2388G, but it's not a cheap location/network so I can't do low end deals. DM me and let me know if you want to see if it'll work out.
Unfortunately, Amsterdam is not an option; only two locations meet my expectations: Poland or Germany.
