Yes. We will take 2 more $360 for 3 years pre-orders.

If I pay for three years, can I get "no bandwidth overuse charge"?

Well @Shakib , I almost got a sweet deal from you guys last November. I went with another provider instead... a mistake.

Never make the same mistake twice. :*

What do I get if I pay triannually on the Ryzen 9000? Any extras?! Backups? More Cores? More SSD?'

How about 6 months free and no bandwidth overuse charge? <3

Also you mention that the Monster Packages have a free CPU upgrade... are they going to be the 9000s? What will they be and when?

We have plans to upgrade all of our Ryzen nodes to the latest processor supported by our existing AM5 platform in 2027.

Thanks! Trigger finger is itching the to pull a new box and exit the one I got last year from different provider.

This RYZEN 9000 node will be one of it's kind liquid cooled with redundant power supply system. We might not have any more those for a while. :)

Oh, This is a discussion that was raised previously. Sorry, @bravede. I'm just asking if it will be fulfilled.

6 months free and no bandwidth overuse charge for everyone making the 3 year pre-orders.

It will cost us nothing more than the colocation fee. So why not? :*

  • Decided to bite on the 7700 Killer-1C offer. Great specs for the price, and all yabs metrics match expectations, but it seems to have some unusual network issues. Roughly every 30 minutes, the network just drops for between 30 seconds and a few minutes.

To be sure it's not just something on my end, I rebuilt to a fresh Debian 11 install and over SSH had the VM ping out to the internet which resulted in:

    --- 1.1.1.1 ping statistics ---
4510 packets transmitted, 4373 received, 3.03769% packet loss, time 4518907ms
    rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 1.529/2.033/15.573/0.277 ms

Node reports as "saturn." Are there any known problems with it?

(Probably unrelated?) I've also noticed network activity spikes every 30 minutes on the hour/half hour. This could be related since the VM generally drops offline within just a few minutes of these, either slightly before or slightly after these network spikes, but there isn't a perfect match. After dumping the traffic on eth0, these spikes turn out to be a TREMENDOUS number of ICMPv6 "multicast listener report" and neighbor solicitation packets all flooding in. (~50k packets in ~50 seconds.) Note: I do not have v6 configured or allocated to the service at all.

We might have to change your IP and access your VM root.

Please submit ticket for a full resolution.

The VM dropping offline issue was resolved quite promptly. (I had it sit for several hours to be sure before saying anything.) The working theory is that there was an IP conflict.

Shakib, please check and be sure that IP does not immediately get reassigned to some other poor soul who ends up experiencing the same issue. Otherwise, all good. :)
