But mine got cancelled with reason info mismatch which is pretty sure not the case.

I haven't personally ordered with a VPN but off the top of my head I can think of 18 reasons why the order would be cancelled if you did.

Yeah, most likely VPN issue as I use the same Paypal account with the same info on kimsufi site for more than a decade, and still has some active server there.

Just want to confirm before trying again.

    Thanks!

  • Is there an API to purchase a KS-A?
Was trying to setup a script to ping the server and purchase one if it landed in FRA, but couldn't find any API call to order...

Ended up ordering KS-4 in GRA just now, mercifully it has 2x4TB.

edit: other observations, now that it's installed

    • 1Gbps down (expected)
    • Upload is limited to 300Mbps on both IPv4 and IPv6 (expected)
    • There is an IPMI, though as others note its java applet only
    • I'm able to add additional IPs for $2/IP/mo

I've tried to sign up for an OVH EU account multiple times before and has always failed but recently I was able to sign up for an OVH EU account using my france vps.
The vps is from a small provider with their own asn so I'm guessing it didn't trigger any flags.

  • KS4 Gravelines. Want to try KS2 4x2TB but not available in France for the past week, only BHS and Frankfurt.

Shut down my KS-A grabber earlier today. Seems to be a very rare grab and I don’t need it nor want to profit off of reselling it.

One less competitor for you all :D

  • Imagine if KS-A gets restocked in US only.

I think it's only one server that appears at a time in this case, when a user let it expire. You need something like checkservers.ovh to monitor these because they are often bought shortly after they appear.

I found an old unpaid order from the 15th in my account from when I was on the fence about ordering and it let me pay for it so.. wish me luck.

It is out of stock in ~ 10-20 minutes. You have to monitor the api to get any kimisufi (A-4) server now.

  • For what its worth I didn't use the api, just loaded the site and saw KS-4 were available in GRA and RBX on both EU and US sites

Yes, it is in stock more than other servers. I am monitoring KS-1 (4*2) in France for days now with no luck.

The old order I found still pending from the 15th is now validated and pending delivery so I assume now it's just a matter of waiting until one is back in the pool.

I used https://checkservers.ovh/ to monitor for KS1 and KS2 everywhere in Europe, and they did pop up occasionally in France but one-at-a-time and were gone by the time I noticed the alert and pulled my finger out, so it is currently just luck in the timing.

Grabbed a KS1 in Germany in the end, which will do for my immediate need. May grab a KS2 if one comes up in a convenient place later, for the better CPU and maybe more RAM.
