So, I bought two storage VPS from a company called EvosHosting, which gave me a special deal when I asked for cheapest VPS per TB of storage. Both of these have specs:
100GB SSD
4TB HDD
6GB RAM
4 Cores
10 Gbit/s (Shared)
1x IPv4
1x IPv6/64

It took a lot of time to receive them, probably about a month. Now they raised price from 3.5 Euro to 4.6 Euro. They had downtime, and even my VPS were removed from the panel. Yesterday, when I tried to log in, it was stuck on Cloudflare verification, and that problem is still there. I told them that I can't get on the site, and they aren't responding.

If you want a cheap deal with issues (that they only made to get customers, and you can't get it anymore for the initial price) then go with with them. If you want something reliable, then don't go with them.

    He wasn't banned when I bought the VPS.

    @andrijapro You joined here in Feb 2024. I joined in July 2024.

    Even then, I called out Evoshosting probably a week after I joined. There were issues after issues. If you ignored those red flag, you share the blame too.

    Yeah, you're right @itachikonoha, I should have seen the red flags earlier. But hey, at least I got an exclusive VIP deal - the Very Incompetent Provider special.

    My review:

    Paying 4€/month for 8x7950X3D GIGA SHARED + 24GB RAM
    2x IPv4, 1x IPv6

    Once the VPS is running, everything is fine
    The issue is, before getting your VPS to run (every time you reinstall it), it ALWAYS takes SEVERAL tickets, often over SEVERAL DAYS to get everything ready

    Example issues:
    Sudden change of control panel without notice, breaking VNC on the default panel, wasted me hours before I got told by the support
    Since login credentials were different, I had to reset my password manually via another ticket, since the automatic reset via the webui was broken :)
    Mounting a custom ISO is possible, but sometime takes a long time
    Issue with CPU type, suddenly changed to some KVM QEMU compatibility mode, reducing performance by literally 90%. Took days for them to fix, after another ticket
    Performance problems, ticket for changing nodes
    Probably had to open like 15-20 separate tickets for different issues over the last 2 months

    Price solid 4€
    Time wasted probably 50€+ haha

    I have a 7 EUR to 8TB storage vps and a vps 24GB and 8cores (shared) for 8 EUR.

    Apart from previous month's problems, I have nothing to complain about this month, the performance and uptime have been very good.

    Price went up, but they are still charging me the old 3.50 euro. Are you sure they didn't raise the price for new customers? Also website loads for me. Cloudflare sometimes doesn't place nice VPN's I noticed.

    I mean, they somehow slightly oversell their node, and the price is very cheap, so you get what you get with this price :) I don't say he's legit or scam, but with this price I don't expect anything, but a high-specs looking idler

    Interesting: I think they do actively makeup the facade of the site; on the other hand in the DC servers they are active.

    The bad part is that they make some kind of maintenance announcement almost every day, and the storage servers haven't arrived for half a month, almost like starvation marketing.

    Nonetheless considering the asking price of the storage servers, it's unlikely you're going to get a lower asking price than this, which is basically sold close to cost.

    This is basically just price and experience correspondence now.

    My assessment is that I don't think they're intentionally cheating on anything, but they're either overworked or very unserious commercially.

    I have one of their regular VPS's that has rebooted 5 or 6 times in a month for maintenance, but other than that there are no performance issues, but I have autostart services configured and those are non-critical services so I can live with that.

    Now they have removed the Cloudflare verifcation, can access the website.

    Tbh VPS are now on, on the dashboard and panel is working, but you cant know when it will change.
