yours or random video? my favorite
Sadly, no. I had only E46 my entire life.
Dude, sick! Living the dream. I've been looking salvaged e90s to work on.
Bought mine for $750 non running/driving. Got it running first day I had it and have been slowly working on it since.
I personally will be racing on weekends at:
4702 E Main St, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Yello Belly Drag Strip on a charger v8 I fully support this project.
What I currently need if anyone is curious about sponsorships (Bigger decal spots/multiple spots):
Front Struts need 2 ($150 ea.) Being sponsored by NohaVPS
3 Stage Intake from Euro model ($350)
ZF 6HP21X 6-Speed Transmission ($950)
Shifter Assembly ($100)
Transfer Case ($250)
CCC/Head Unit ($350)
Torque Converter ($450-500)
Headers ($250-300)
(Also need to pay someone to tune the thing)
Eh it was nothing special I had a beat up e36 coupe with M50B20 engine, had a sport suspension, bucket seat and a welded differential. Unfortunately all photos/videos I had were on my old phone but managed to pull some from social media: Pics
Anyway currently working on my e46 328ci (coupe). Recently did a MS42 -> MS43 conversion with electric gas pedal, electric throttle body and bigger intake from M54.
Waiting on some part to start turbocharging it.
Why not get rid of the X drive and while doing that just slap a manual gearbox ? It’s not hard to do and It would be way better for the track. Also what are you planning for the rear differential ?
If it’s track only use, welding it would do the job.
Definitely going to weld, and I was planning on eventually getting rid of X-Drive.
Yeah getting rid of the Xdrive is a must but putting a ZF gearbox would make it even better.
Are you going to keep it NA ? (Assuming it’s the N52 motor)
This car I am going to keep NA, I'll get a turbo car eventually. The NA motors seem to be super super reliable.
Yes, the N52 and M52/54 are very reliable. My e46 has 700k km on the clock and still going strong, original motor. 😁
I bought this car for $750 non running, god knows how long it’s been sitting… first day I had it I got it running, changed plugs and coils high idled it for 5 min and it makes 0 noise… 200k mi (~320k km) on the thing. Next thing I want is a M57 car lmao
Add me on discord: northernjames I’ll show you a video of how clean the interior is
Would love to see haha. Just added you !
This has the transmission I need, a shitload of parts I can use, and a spare motor. Sponsor it for me and the entire car car get themed twords you brand.
