Anyone tried Cuberite Minecraft Server on Android?
Just found out about this Open Source lightweight Minecraft Server that can be run on Android (also Linux and other OS):

For a server with 16 players:
What type of cpu/cores?
How many gb ram?
The limitations really make it not feasible compared to just running something on a cheap spare laptop or host. If you just want a small server for you and a few friends it's good I guess but still. There's so many better options with more support lol. It's a cool project though.
Is it? How is the performance? Which phone are you running it on? How big of a map and how many players will it run smoothly?
This is a cool project, but I agree with @MikeA unless you are like 12 with no other options than it is not worth it over using literally nearly anything else. Although I used to run a minecraft pe server with an app on a nexus 7(?) before Minecraft PE supported multiplayer servers and you had to use a custom proxy to trick the game into joining it through a fake realm. That was fun.
I think I would also just use my mc lifetime server or a vps, but just the curiosity of trying it out on an old android is there

I didn't mean to refer to the product being good, I meant being able to host a Minecraft server on a phone would be a good way go recycle old phones.
