    I ordered a KS-4 in RBX. The 17 € "base" model with 16Gb RAM and 2x2Tb HDD.

The HDDs are actually 2x4Tb which is nice. They are 6 years old which is less nice but smartmontools says I'll be ok.

There is IPMI, but it's the Java applet thing, and I don't have Java installed. Also, this is a Java Web Start application, which has been deprecated.
There is Serial Console over LAN.

I see the option to add more IPV4 but I have not done it.

There's an option to "Bring Your Own image" when I reinstall. I haven't tried that either. I did try on a previous server a few years ago. It takes a cloudready image.

The fact that we get this info from a user on page 24 and not from @OVH_APAC while they’re active & posting deals is honestly sad.

But thanks anyway, very good to know.

Ovh only post deal and go...

    No, it's 300Mb up, 1Gb down.

@OVH_APAC who do I gotta meet behind the bleachers for a quick rub n tug to get a promocode for no setup fee on a KS-1

Even with 2x4TB, what's the benefit of those compared to the KS-1 with 4x2TB and 32GB RAM? I guess maybe the CPU, disk layout and location choice might be important to some, but I struggle to understand.

KS-4 CPU clocked way higher, much more CPU performance compared to the KS-1

Anyone have any clue why some models are Canada only? Electricity prices?

They often only add the locations that they plan to sell on, so I’m suprised that the KS-A for example is listed for so many locations if they don’t intend to sell them there

And if they do intend to, I wonder what’s taking so long. They should have the hardware since forever, but something made Canada go up, at least, long before anything else

I honestly dont think KS-A will be back atleast not with the specs that we recently saw...its the hope that kills you

Yes I think it will, they very rarely change specs. If somebody cancels it right now, you don’t think it’s going back into the stock?

But yeah, maybe you’re right. Something is up RE. there only ever being stock in Canada, so many orders cancelled & no report of anyone getting it after the initial ones.
