EU dedi
Hello everyone. I am looking for alternatives to Hetzner with similar prices for dedicated servers. So far I have only found this provider https://mevspace.com/, which can provide similar prices and quality.
If you know of similar providers and tell me about them, I would be grateful
based on the configuration of AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 64GB RAM, x2 512GB NVME SSD
mevspace - 39,99€
Hetzner - 37,70€ (auction)

Bugdet?
We can offer some like this but on Intel Xeon E5-2186G.
mevspace offer 39.99€
I couldn't pass the registration stage, or rather they reject the order, and their price is higher than mevspace
You need to increase your budged for that.
alas, I’m looking for options similar to hetzner
Nothing compares to Hetzner.
In the SoYouStart range, OVH may have something for you.
SYS-1 has 2x512Gb NVMe and Xeon-E 2136: https://eco.ovhcloud.com/fr/soyoustart/sys-1/
Hetzner’s EX44 is a much better deal than the one you quoted IMO
I wouldn't call it comparable to a i5 13500 (2018 vs. 2023)
Especially since it's €45.99 with 64 GB RAM
Add gigabit bandwidth to that (like Hetzner does), it's €105.99
And still a worse CPU
Edit: But yeah, probably about as close as you can get. Or OVH Game-1, but still, very much more expensive compared to a EX44.
If long term I would just eat the fee or get one from someone and get an EX44 for a bit more of money but way more performance
The OP asks for an equivalent to a Ryzen 5 3600.
Yes, and he also asked for:
The Ryzen 5 3600 is not the best Hetzner deal. Let's focus on the bigger question, if any provider can match Hetzner's price/performance on their top deals.
Only in Poland though, right?
yes, they are located only in Poland
I saw the deal the other day on a thread. My only issue is I personally don't have any use for the location. I've seen good prices in Utah and other less popular locations ($50-$60). I can share these with you if you're interested.
Hardware and networking in NL seems to be fairly priced all in but haven't seen anything 'cheap' yet with the above configuration but have seen EPYC deals.
Hetzner 8700GE is even harder to find any real alternative for.
Hetzner doesn't have locations I'm interested in either though so I was also curious to see answers to your question.
I am considering offers in Europe, but thanks
I tested and benchmark Hetzner (albeit a VM) and don't like them (unlike most here on LET it seems). But the reality is that, aside from usually questionable, crippled, or with very old processor offers it seems nobody beats Hetzner dedis in terms of what you get for the money (and often even simply price alone).
I myself am extremely unlikely to get a Hetzner dedi and so I certainly understand someones desire for an alternative.
It seems though that you're looking for basically a Hetzner-like product for a price that is very similar to Hetzner's.
Sorry, but the chances that that will work are very slim. Even OVH usually can't win in that game plus, even if they occasionally could, so far Hetzner DCs don't tend to burn (read: OVH isn't really a competitor to be taken seriously IMO).
Why not?
I've used both their cloud and their dedicated servers for quite some time and it's not perfect but for me it's been one of the better providers for sure
The results were rather mediocre. Not bad bad but significantly worse than quite many other provider's offers (in that range, ca. €5/mo, so not super-cheap). IIRC it even was Ryzen VPS.
It would be great to have access to Hetzner directly, and not through resellers, because of this I am looking for providers to which I myself can have access. As I understand it, there are simply no alternatives to Hetzner (Dedicated servers)
It seems that I can make a deposit of $20 instead of going through identity verification. So it's worth a try
I can see that. I personally think a big selling point for Hetzner's cloud is stability.
You know they're not going to collapse. They're a large, profitable company with their own datacenters.
