We are proud to provide tech support when all others do not.

Please provide basis for your claim and comparison. You are the one who is accusing all other providers lacking.

Exactly, @CharityHost_org don't be ignorance. If you can't handle critical posts stop advertising on LET. This is how it goes people are critical here and I think it's there right also, if you see how many hosts deadpooled lately. Also there are here a lot of good providers around, acting like you doing now will not get you a lot of customers. So my advise be less ignorance and listen more to the people on LET.

Listen, I agree with the critics on some (most) of the points, but you can say what you think (yes, @CharityHost_org, that’s allowed) and then be done with it.

This back and forth didn’t have to go on for 8 pages. This is an offer thread. Criticism is definitely allowed, but give this provider who, so far, have done nothing wrong, some breathing room.

It’s starting to border on enough IMO.

  • whats the history with this guy again?

YABS completed in 17 min 5 sec

And here is the GeekBench6 that came later. What you is what you will get very close pretty much guaranteed. I've seen GB6 of AMD EPYC and Ryzen at 10% of a true single core results on GeekBench site, which is 20% of this GB6 above. One must wonder how overcommitted/overloaded and rate cap/limited those VPS and hosts are. 1:5 to 1:10?

This is how VDS are for mission critical workloads.

VDS 1 here are 1:1 for all resources

Thank you all for your support!

  • I see no reason not to go directly with oplink.net. I don't like your os choices either, will I have the ability to add an iso without hounding support?

What OS do you want? I would consider adding it. Also, you wont get VDS will unlimited bandwidth like you do with us.

That's really strange, had not seen a 404 upon ordering. Can you PM the URL?
Upgraded your VDS to double the memory. Added latest ArchLInux ISO for now and verifying it's available. Will have to create a KVM template for it as we go.

  • Thanks but no not really. I just used the link you posted and filled everything out including my cc via stripe and hit the submit button and was created with that. Since I'm already signed up now I don't know that I can replicate it as I'd need to enter another card.

Well being new at LET and being barraged with scrutiny...

    100% expected, every single time...

And a lot of negative opinions being posted that are just gross assumptions with no facts to back up are not welcoming.

I do not think anybody has had it worse than Josh from DataIdeas.. Your treatment so far is seriously nothing compared to what he went through.. Now, after 'passing' he is very respected (minus the "incident" of only giving some people a discount, but that was kind of minor) on LET..

I have been getting questions about whether we lease or own our hardware. To be transparent, we own our hardware dedicated servers 100% right now and colo at oplink.net as our IP address whois on yabs.sh test show. We do not own ipv4 subnets quite yet but hope to as we scale.

VDS offer still open for next 9 orders for double the RAM.

No, the discount is for the lifetime of the service ordered. It's a benefit we offer to education, students, and schools.

Mods are starting to warn people if they are negative instead of acting like on happy pills. Not aware of this new rule, but I've seen it now with two mods. Not good.
