Hoping for it to be re-stocked.
I just hope that it will be delivered xD restock with this price seem impossible
If Canada out of stock!Let France get some!
5 eur/m for a dedicated server. It's crazy, I still don't believe in this deal
I'm still fascinated by it. It's indeed a deal of a lifetime. The steal of the steal deals.
Hi there
If that's the case do we have a timeline on when and as well how will the demand be handled?
I've said this before and I'll say it again getting one of these KS-A boxes or equivalent specs will cut my op ex by about 17 USD. Which is significant for me.
So it's worth waiting for months I think. I got a paid order and just wait until next announcement. Maybe never in my life can find a deal with dedicated, 64gb ram and 480gb ssd for 5 eur/m.
life is crazy!
are there any stock checkers for KS-A? I normally use checkservers.ovh but they don't have the newer additions
It's worth waiting.
Hello! I have already purchased the KS-A, but the status still shows "The product is being delivered." I'm very worried that my order might not be shipped. Is there still hope for it to be delivered on time? This has been keeping me up at night, and I even dream about the KS-A being powered on.
dont worry, orders which are paid will get their servers, even if it takes months.
Fucking scalpers and resellers buying hundreds of these and then dreaming of riches cause of the insane price value for reselling. I just want one like the rest of the people here.
I suggest for @OVH_APAC to add account limit for amount of KS-A offers. If anyone ordered more than 1-2, return them back to stock for us normal people.
Fuck all resellers taking advantage of this and swapping out their more expensive server/current infra to fuck over their VPS customers with downgrades.
-2128 stock tells you everything you need to know about the greedy resellers here.
I completely understand your frustration—scalpers and resellers can be a real headache. They buy in bulk and resell at inflated prices, which does affect those who genuinely need the product. However, it's not entirely fair to blame them for missing out. In this age of information gaps, it’s crucial to stay ahead of the curve. Instead of blaming the scalpers, perhaps it’s more about acting too late. As the old Chinese saying goes, "If it’s meant to be, it will come; if it’s not, there’s no need to force it."
I agreed it!
I hope this community keeps an eye on sudden 6700k offers or changes in their VPS, so you providers better hide your CPU info if you swap out current nodes to this out of greed.
Name and shame everyone who does it.
I saw this post like 10 minutes after it was made, when there were only like 3 posts... Would have got one but since the OP linked to the Ireland OVH, when I got to the end of the checkout I couldn't checkout, and had to go to the correct region and find the server, and by the time I got to payment, it had already sold out.
Wait, VPS providers would swap the node for one running no RAID at all? Shocked, I say.
RAID is not BACKUP.
Losing sleep over getting/not getting a 5 euro machine is crazy
No, but it significantly reduces the chances of needing to use a backup
Decided to order a KS-1 to replace an old KS-LE, seeing as I can double the storage capacity for a few cents more.
Ordered for the "Frankfurt" datacentre, which in fact is Limburg, close enough
Setup was stated at 24 hours, however it came through within 15 minutes which was nice. Port speed in the control panel shows 100/100, however YABS it showing 300m up and ~1g down.
Booted straight into rescue mode and here is the YABS:

4x 2TB disks, all are HGST Ultrastar 7K6000 with ~46000 hours on them.
It also has a full KVM from the Supermicro IPMI available.
No too bad
You make me thought that they're starting delivering these 5 eur deals
Haha sorry... I wish! My F5 key is getting a good workout on the KS-A page
goooooooooooood morning night city so its confirmed these arent a price error? LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I don’t think you or anyone has much chance of getting one from refreshing the page, the amount of api order create/stock alert scripts for this server will be insane
Day 3 without my ordered KS-A
You are already have a disadvantage when ordering over the website.
This might sound crazy but you have to put the item into the basket and checkout.
While using the API, you already can do that, before other people can via the website.
So when other people are getting their notification, you already checked out with the item in your basket you prepared hours earlier.
If you wanna get one, have a Bot do it for you.
Too Good To Be True.
Just be careful to interpret results correctly, 1PB is a lot. I checked quickly and mentioned DC P3520 model seems to have 1095 TBW endurance rating. That's slightly more than 1PB. Is it possible that it is 95% used, meaning only about 5% life left?
