Is there something wrong with Mxroute?

@jar
While it's not working, you can log in at https://webmail.mxroute.com/ instead.
No response to my support ticket in over a week. I don't understand why mxroute is so highly regarded on LET.
They have a Discord Community that is very active, might help reduce the wait time.
Usually the latest I pay the invoice for Crossbox is the third notice, as it gets suspended the next day if I don't. This time both happened at the same time for 2 server licenses. They were renewed 1.5h later at about 10:30am US/Central. If it's still not working it'll be out of my hands so I can't say much. We do have a ticket open with them over one user reporting that it isn't. Feel free to use any other email client or webmail client, I like webmail.mxroute.com myself.
Sorry friend. Message me the ticket number. Hostbill is really hard to sort through at our volume and our prioritization strategy doesn't help, admittedly. Most things waiting that long should be low priority, product requests, custom solution requests, etc. We've also grown this year at such a rate that it has me constantly working to keep up my administration technique at scale. It's not going poorly though, not at all. There's 3 of us on support now.
Jar's salt of the earth and doesn't blow smoke up anyone's arse.
I think he's trying his best to scale up, started this as a side hustle IIRC and it became a huge deal, for good reason.
A little UptimeKuma instance or UptimeRobot with a KW check to alert you if a keyword's gone for stuff like this will go a long way.
tl-dr: If I ever stop self hosting, I know where I'm going for email.
Thanks friend.
I knew it was gonna be hard to stick to my principles at a certain size. The pressure to go down the same paths as companies that came before is there, it's strong. We're dangerously close to 1M per year in revenue (I don't mean profit). We should be a bit beyond that point by EOY 2025. But we all know there's something different and more pleasant about working with a small business, and I intend to keep that something at the front of it for the remainder of my life.
That something, I think, is the small team and the "buck stops here" attitude. When you can't pin a failure on a person by name and talk to the person that's fixing it, that's when I think you've lost that special something. I'm well aware of all of the counter arguments to that and they're fair, but disappearing behind a corporate veil is an "over my dead body" thing.
Ehhhmmm...
Guys, is that the same Jarland and the same Mxroute we used to buy a $5/year promo from back in 2017?
Or our Jarland was kidnapped by aliens and this is some new one?
That being said, you mean Entrepreneur Of The Year™, right?
Keep growing @jar !!!
I keep saying both (growth numbers + revenue) out loud trying to get used to hearing it. I still can't comprehend it so I just drown myself in the work. If this many people are going to trust me I damn well better do the best I can. Which isn't always great, but I won't stop trying.
$5 x 200,000 customer plans = $1M.
Business is booming! 😉
I'd say MXRoute has a pretty good following and reputation outside of LowEndTalk, and probably a good chunk of their customers probably have never heard of such a site. Just speculation, of course.
This is the result of pure dedication, good job @jar ❤️
hey @rsk . what about your dedication regarding the nvme speed of my vps?
and is it usual to get 422MB with 512MB? the vps runs like a steam engine. i just can't get gb6 out of it.
Bro you gotta take a down a notch. This is the second thread I've seen you in calling out people that happen to have commented on the thread saying "hey $PROVIDER, I have a problem with $THING - what's your response."
It has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand and whether you realize it or not, you're making the provider out to be unresponsive. I know for certain @rsk is responsive and for you to insinuate otherwise is absolutely ridiculous.
If you have an issue, open a ticket. If you want to ask a provider a question or try to elicit a response for a comment you made on a thread, send them a private message. How you're currently handling this is all wrong.
You know what'd be funny? If @rsk decided your $20/yr VPS wasn't worth the BS and your NVME speed went to 0 after he closed out your account for acting like a child.
Welcome to the two-comma club.
i can understand your massive disappointment that you didn't win anything at layer.ae annual fest. please take your frustration and your spying on me methods and teachings elsewhere. i also recommend that you mind your own business and stop bothering me.
To avoid derailing, we can take this over pm. For gb6 add swap
I still can't log in. When will it be restored?
I don't know. It's not within my control to fix Crossbox. The ticket with them is open. You're aware you can use other webmails or your own email client right? You can also check status updates faster here: https://status.mxroute.com/
I know, but I like using Crossbox, it's more beautiful than other webmails, and it allows you to set your own branding, which is more important to me.
CB reports this as fixed
Same deal last year too, though you had to buy 3 years at $15 total.
It's due again.
Checking. I don’t have an email about it.
Once again it has expired.
I'm logged in to it. There are invoices past due but:
