VPS/VDS in UK for private proxying

Have been looking for probable alternatives ever since @stratagem closed their business for others. A Stratagem refugee, if you will. Hopefully there will be a vendor willing to have an offer with the following specs.

VZ Type: full virtualization (e.g. KVM, Xen, VMware)
RAM: At least 512MB
Disk Space: At least 10 GB
Disk Type: HDD / SSD / NVMe
Bandwidth: At least 5TB per month (Stratagem used to be 10TB; bandwidth not actually fully utilized, however there should be a safe guarantee in case of sudden need)
Port Speed: At least 100Mbps (200Mbps preferred)
DDoS Protection: It doesn't matter
Number of IPs: 1 IPv4 with access to IPv6.
Location: Anywhere in England, United Kingdom. Preferably in London or somewhere in the West Midlands, for having good connectivity (France, Netherlands and Germany specifically) to the continental Europe and East Coast in US.
Budget: 30 EUR/yr, 33 USD/yr or 30 GBP/yr (Stratagem used to be 30 GBP/yr)
Billing period: Quarterly, semi-annually, annually
Additional requirements:

  • Allows private proxying
  • Unlocks BBC iPlayer
  • Allows ordering behind a proxy (marking as fraud due to IP is fine, as long as the order can pass through with a ticket)
  • Does not forbid Tor traffic (neither as a relay nor as an exit node) (optional)

Are English servers that expensive? Currently planning to test NohaVPS out.

Also an edit: The budget should be 36 USD/EUR per year.

Searched around with Server Hunter, Looking House and the "aff pony". Hope some others will find this information useful. None of these have been verified to have access to BBC iPlayer.

    • Inception Hosting

I recommend @Clouvider as a VPS provider. If BBC iPlayer doesn't work, you can use Xray-core with Cloudflare WARP. Alternatively, you can redirect traffic to the WARP endpoint using iptables and then use the profile generated with wgcf.

    I looked at the page.

    500 GB Bandwidth

That's less than one tenth of the needed transfer, and the price blew over the budget. Thanks for the offer, but no.

I went with @hyperhostsolutions in the end, good experience so far. May still go for Noha for redundancy, as UK is kind of a key location.
