If your reply is to me, mine is (now) on a fixed 200TB group account, so as long as I don't use more than 100TB, they won't care. I'm still only using a few dozen TBs
The Original Gsuite business used to be Unlimited Storage on the account, you now have bundled storage for any accounts, unless you buy group storage. still got to be careful though with it as they will just serve a 90 day notice if they think you have or are abusive it "hitting the api drive cap"
Yes, I am very aware..
Now it is a 200TB account for the entire (legitimate) organization, they are using around 1TB combined across all accounts, excluding mine. I'm running my TNO backups to it so I'm not worried about it.
Is this allowed now? In the past people were selling legacy or grandfathered g suite/workspace accounts. It got stopped because of google's policy, if they notice a change in ownership they terminate the accounts.
If it's not against policy anymore, I would like it =D
hmm these do not work anymore...and if they do they will stop...soon
is it transfered or not? if not, what is teh price?
They also didn't grandfather the unlimited Google drive storage.
There simply is no more easy unlimited storage on Google as before. The only true unlimited contracts will run out this or next year (multi year contracts) but those are usually on 300+ seats contracts.
Then you still can get quite some nice amount of storage with Google. You just have to know how to make use of the 90d double storage requests including keeping the subscription costs low. It ain't be as cheap as before but it is still possible to get additional storage ~20tb at 4-5€/m (at max requests).
However it's easier to go with Microsoft as you don't need to efficiently manage seats and licenses as you would need with Google.
M$ is still possible to get additional 25TB+ for 11-12€/m.
But honestly I think if more low spender accounts will "exploit" that we gonna see some more restrictions on storage within the next years.
However I always recommend if you happen to have old/legacy business accounts with Google or M$ to keep them and not let go.
