Speedypage - One of the best providers I've had and I've had many
So instead of just complaining about hosts here like I usually do I've decided to write a review about a host I've had a positive experience with to balance things out.
Most reviews here seem to just spit out a 1 time YABS and not the stability of a host because it requires you to setup monitoring and rent the VPS for an extended duration of time. I hope this will spur other people here to do more stability reviews for other hosts.
Speedypage is one of the best providers for stability I've ever had and I've probably been with 30+ different providers over the years. I have not received any free or special offers for this review.
I had 3 servers with them (currently 2) for over a year. The CPU steal is excellent.

Only in Singapore was did it go up a little occasionally.

IOWait also good, but I use very little IO.

There was no downtime except for one instance when they moved their Sydney servers to another host.
Also BGP and GRE ports are blocked in some locations. You can ask them to remove it but it will only be done during the weekdays.

Speedypage are top-tier
@speedypage
Thanks for the review! We appreciate the positive feedback. It's glad to know our efforts on keeping nodes performing well is noticed!
Yes, I also notice that, the consistency of performance / uptime / response time are gll good.
I have 4 in their Ashburn location.
I haven't set up performance monitoring, but I can tell it performs well by comparing my 20+ various 7950x's.
Hope they can bring back the backup feature soon.
I am also a very satisfied customer of Speedypage
The support is good too, although I barely open ticket
I've seen several posts claiming Speedypage's service is excellent.
I'm curious to know, what's your average ticket response time, one day or one week? Thanks.
I have been a customer of SpeedyPage on and off and honestly, they've always been a stellar provider. I would (and have) point people their way for decent VPS hosting.
yeah, fast support and good network
Another happy customer here, since early 2023. The service is robust and performant, the support is thus rarely needed, but always there to assist.
The only downtime worth mentioning was complimentary upgrade of 5950x to 7950x (IP change, but no price change!), who would complain about such an unexpected gift and resulting short downtime.

Customer since Friday, August 5th, 2022.
Currently have 4 KVMs with them, All of them SG.
1 on their High performance plan 7900 and 3 on their 5950x plan.
SG had a small hiccups this year recently which was solved.
It really takes a load off the head when there is an issue, I open a ticket and they
acknowledge that there is an on-going issue and that they are working to fix it without keeping me in the dark.
Response times to the ticket are godly. Best support ive seen.
After the Nexusbytes fiasco, Speedypage made me love Lowendproviders again
When they respond after more than an hour they apologize for the delay
By the way any special offer? so we can take advantage of this moment.
I like Speedypage, but shared in UK has (and have) it's problems that forced me to leave!
If there is one, definitely gonna grab it!
Love @speedypage. They are great, I wish they would make more Cpanel hosting/reseller offers again
Yeah, sometimes I wonder why they don't offer special deals more often here on LET. With so many satisfied customers, they could easily sell more, right?
Then it occurs to me that they seem like a perfect example of a company growing slowly and organically, taking good care of their current customers before expanding. Makes sense, right?
There's currently a really long and heated thread here on LET, which perfectly illustrates what happens when a company sells more than it can handle - definitely more than it can support effectively. So many frustrated customers are asking for refunds, etc.
It will be interesting to follow both sales models in the coming months and years.
P.S. If I haven't already mentioned, I'm definitely keeping my Speedypage VPS
Can you elaborate please?
I've just renewed my shared hosting with them after one year....really satisfied...powerful performance.
Sure, you can take a look at the status page history for the UK shared hostinhg and see for you self.
Echoing others, @speedypage gets top marks for value and service. They're my go to for Ashburn services.
A poor MariaDB configuration was the root cause of these small outages. It has since been corrected/optimized and in August we are currently at 100% uptime. Apologies for the inconvenience! Shared Hosting can be more difficult to have perfect scores like we have for our VPS platform, but I am confident we're running smoothly now.
New hardware in both Singapore & London is being deployed for Shared Hosting as we speak as well.
Specs?
yep same, was using many many years their reseller hosting, uk100 webserver was / is total garbage. Had constant downtimes, random anomalies ect
I completely agree! Speedypage is indeed one of the best providers.
