Cloudpacket Solutions is Temporarily Shutting Down to Revamp Our Services – All Services Closing on August 31st, 2024
Dear LowEndTalk Community,
We have an important update: Cloudpacket Solutions will be temporarily shutting down all services on August 31st, 2024. This pause is part of our exciting plan to completely revamp our offerings and return to our roots as a classic 1990s-style web hosting provider.
Why the Change?
After years of evolving and expanding, we believe it’s time to step back and focus on delivering a nostalgic, classic web hosting experience reminiscent of the early days of the internet. This temporary closure will allow us to restructure and enhance our infrastructure to provide the reliable, no-frills hosting services that defined the web in the 1990s.
What This Means for You:
- Service Termination Date: All current services will be suspended on August 31st, 2024.
- Data Backup: We urge all customers to back up their data and migrate to another provider before this date.
- Support Availability: Our support team will be available until the closure date to assist with any questions or help with migration.
- Future Plans: We look forward to relaunching with a fresh, retro-style approach that brings back the simplicity and reliability of classic web hosting.
For any assistance with your account or migration needs, please reach out to our support team. We are here to ensure a smooth transition during this period.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to serving you with a refreshed, nostalgic web hosting experience.
Sincerely,
The Cloudpacket Solutions Team

1990s style webhosting is in huge demand?
Yes it is very demand we have done days of extensive market reserarch providiing people always want static 1990 website hositng
No sir! Market research is for the W sir!
check our website for more info.

yes sir
Then, I guess, there was a deeper meaning behind promo code FOOL20
Sir there was not sir, it was april fools deal sir.
Is this the latest strategy for deadpooling?
No partnership with Netscape or AOL. Cant be good.
Yes Sir!
If closing the company correctly while notifying our customers... we're also at a loss hahaha (totally not an edited message!!!!!!!!!1!!!!1!!!1!!111)
Thanks!
The thinner margin in Low End Market … is more challenging now … especially if the reputation of being top provider is missing
fuck i forgot to add them they were pretty deep in the list sorry
First $20 gets to be the recommended provider to switch to on our site!
Oh gosh, this is the biggest bull**t I've ever heard LOL
So you're telling us that evolution is synonymous of failure? Good to know, the end of the world is nigh then.
And is the 14 days notice period only part of the 90's stylish revamp?
I admit it's a funny way to announce the closure of the company though.
Have fun!
Thank you sir!
Will this classic web hosting be HDD based? What kind of CPU, RAM will be used? I am not old enough to know 90s hosting market.
imagine being so fucked you’re whoring out for $20
mzunguhosting was kind enough and donated some hardware, we will be running on their very fast servers. Check https://mzunguhosting.ml/
Hey man, $20 is $20.
At least their website is optimized for Netscape.
You missed AOL logo among “partners”
— closing business after 5 months of promocode FOOL20
Sure, Hit me up
Storage will be tape based.. none of that new-age tape technology, but good old VHS tapes.
CPUs will mainly be 386/486 for the low-end market, but there will also be premium high end servers with a shiny new Intel Pentium I.
There will be more than enough ram, since up to 2x16MB simms are supported. If you need more ram, you can create a swap file on the VHS tape.
you guys don't have the mini 2$ VPS that they had. I have 10 VPS with them and looking to find a new provider to move.
The end is nigh!
