server-factory.com unwanted charges help

weir1weir1 Member
edited August 2024 in Help

I'm dealing with a frustrating situation with server-factory.com and could use some advice from anyone who has experience with them.
Here's what happened:

Yesterday, server-factory.com charged my account 30 euros for renewal of services, which was expected.
Today, they charged another 30 euros and added this money to my wallet without my consent.

While the renewal charge was initially fine, due to this unexpected wallet addition, I no longer want to continue with their services. I've opened a support ticket today requesting a full refund of 60 euros and cancellation of my services.
Has anyone here faced similar problems with server-factory.com? I'd appreciate any advice on:

How to get the full 60 euros refunded quickly
Preventing any further charges
Effective ways to escalate this issue if their support doesn't resolve it promptly
Ensuring my services are completely cancelled

Any tips, experiences, or insights would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Give them time to respond. If they don't, migrate your data / services and then file a charge back for unauthorized charge - in case it actually is an unauthorized charge & you didn't permit them to keep your wallet 'topped-up'.

  • They are only one who can resolve your problems. Be patient until they respons to your ticket.

32 hours max. After that chargeback and push data restore button on another provider. 0 tolerance to fiscal fraud.

  • There is a chance you could get the €30 back for the unauthorized charge, but I wouldn't count on getting a refund for the service given their terms.

Try to reach your card issuer to freeze or lock the card temporarily.

In my opinion, server-factory has a great uptime and their support is very good.Sometimes, other providers also have matter on double charge due to the system.Maybe wait patiently and have a nice conversation with their support is much more easier and convenient than raise a chargeback.

At least revolut allow to ban selectively those you want to stop charge you. Very handy future.

  • Don't use your main bank card for internet payments, much less a credit card where you will still owe the bank.

For Internet payments, especially where the card is added for auto debit, use a replenishable virtual card and after replenishment for payment keep the balance at zero. This will help.

  • i have had a refund from them even after having it in credit for sometime.

    give them time to respond.

I have €90 from affiliate income, which I cannot withdraw.
Service renewals come from this account balance, so they never charged my payment card.
Support time is 2~3 days, worse than the early days.

I issued a refund for both transactions. Sorry for the inconvenience. We are checking what happened here.

  • When you put your bank card in the hands of wanderers then don't be surprised that this is what you end up with. Then it's all about honesty.
