Yes, there was connection timed out issue. I couldn't log in. but it last for 10-15 mins i think (as per status.hostbrr.com page, 6th August). But i could login after I checked it a hour later.

In my opinion, i think because the contabo io are sucks if they run backup it Will destroy entire user website because 2MB IO/sec from contabo. IM used contabo before and moved from them. Really bad.
My suggestion hostbrr Singapore must be moved from contabo. It Will be good for them. I believe that they not running backup because of contabo IO issues.

We are using dedicated servers, not their VPS so we aren't IO limited. The issue is entirely different. The issue has been that Jetbackup has been stuck in a boot-loop. The issue couldn't be identified. We've had to re-install Jetbackup and start anew.
It is working again.

Look, I promoted their VPS on my site. In this case, I used my team account to purchase their service and then sold it to my customer. They told me this is forbidden.
