What's the best way to start selling VPS cheaply?
Hello, what's the cheapest way to get started with selling VPS? I mean, is there a reseller available for that, similar to shared hosting resellers? Or do I have to manage everything, like renting a dedicated server from a place like Contabo, buying lots of IP addresses, and using a service like Virtualizor/SolusVM to sell VPS?
My only concern is, if I spend that much money on the server and control panel, and if I don't get customers, it will be a waste! So, is there any way to get started cheaper?
REQUEST: Please don't demotivate me. Just ignore this thread if you don't like it.

I won't demotivate you so I'll ignore the thread.
I'll do the same thing as well.
thread ignored
buy a used shitbox on ebay and host it in your basement then follow calin’s blueprint
I would wait until winter. Too much competition right now.
Wait for the next summer and ffs offer ipv6 or @yoursunny will break your neck before you even started

Do nothing. close this thread and move on, that's the best way
Look at the current popular offers such as
3 vCore EYPC / 12 gb / 120 gb for €5 / month
Now, work on your business plan … if you were to offer similar offers, go through your business plan …. Time for break even etc
Also, include cost for support as well
Best wishes to you
Just buy cheapest VPS from Contabo and sell lxd containers with shared ip address. Managing can be done via ssh, so you don't need to buy control panel. Make a 512 mb and 5 GB plan for 4$/y, 12 people from LET will buy this and it will cover your server costs. After a month close your business and you will have $44 profit!
Maybe find a reseller first and expand to a dedicated server when you have enough clients, there are some hosts with a reseller program so try searching them online.
ddr ignor.
This will assist with your problem:

Start with that VPS Reseller/Resource Pool, then move up when ready to Dedicated Server / Colocation. That will limit your initial financial investment/exposure, and allow you a wide footprint as well.

Actually renting bare metal is significantly different than Colocation, this is a common misperception, Even buying bare metal is in terms very different from Colocation, confusing the two and thinking they are the same is just a fallacy, when you get serious about Colocation you will find many costs associated that give meaning to the term it's a very different game imho, but if you are serious look into dedicated offers for starters, you can rent and own and save lots of startup costs by taking that next step, most people I've known who were successful in this regard begin around 100 mo, then there is maybe less than 50 in related costs for WHMCS license, modules, a nice domain, some redundancy to consider, some Pro subscriptions insert_here, your own time etc, my advice is to project this 150 and work on providing efficient, not necessarily the fastest or the most comprehensive support, let the buyer beware and remember not every customer is right and worth you losing sleep over, just do well never lose patience with anyone and project a positive attitude through good service offers, I think for example WHMCS is much cheaper now? I can't say a quick look at their pricing seems different now I thought there was a higher one time fee in the past, in any case good luck
