No but it must have ntt at the very least and be able to remove random transits that don't work with my anycast like vocus, and some kind of ddos protection.

Anything that is using Host Universal? E.g. flow vps by @trewq or ransomit.com.au or others like shock hosting?

Host Universal has NTT (US) as upstream and (at least in Tokyo) they use CDN77 as well...

But don't ask me about their ddos protection, as that is not my area. Maybe wait for @trewq to be up and coffee-infused? He should be in the know...

I have talked to ransomit and but they can only offer 10 gbit in terms of "ddos protection". They told me we're better off with GSL.

They'll probably work out for us now as we've never gotten more than 300 mbit to australia, but I want to see if we can get something with actual ddos protection first.

  • Have you tried ovh in sydney?

  • OVH doesn't offer bgp and they don't have any transit that is suitable for apac like NTT.

I do see NTT as upstream here? https://bgp.tools/prefix/139.99.128.0/17#connectivity but you are probably right about bgp, so that is no help.

  • well they don't offer bgp anyway

Hey, we have a community that a fair few anycast networks use that keeps the announcements within Australia. Eg. only announces to our domestic transit and peering.

Happy to work with you to cut down announcement/optimise the anycast however we have found this solution to be a very suitable drop in addition for most networks.
