More low-end iGPU server providers

Recently I have been experimenting the transcoding via iGPU and I have been seeking for iGPU providers for a while

I have tried out the service in pulsed media,it's truly cost-efficiency( however they do not have a lot of stock:'( ) and I'm wondering if I can even lower the cost for a little bit

the lowest CPU spec I can accept is ** intel i5-6500t** (I don't know whether AMD will be better)

budget:20-35$ per month
bandwidth:1Gbps(if unmetered will be good :) )

You’ll struggle to beat an old laptop or mini pc at home running rffmpeg

  • can you tell me how long an igpu take to convert a 1hour long mp4 video? you can tell me the experince you face. i am trying to do some similar things

I'm not doing something like transcoding,I 'm actually taking snapshots from videos. It takes 6 minutes to process a 120 min mp4 video on intel core 8500

There used to be @nickyzai but they closed down recently :(

Would love to have more Mini PC hosting in Asia... maybe @NDTN can consider?

I would love to do it, but it's not really feasible :'( It only makes sense if you live near the DC itself, since remote hands often costs a lot and these mini PCs are high maintenance.

    Howdy,

    We have several of:
    i5-8500T | 32 GB DDR4 | 1TB NVMe | 1Gbps Unmetered

If you get multiple we can get it into your budget :)

What if I could potentially remote hands your SG ones :joy: You can consider some KVM/IPMI though

You would have to cross the border to Malaysia :D
If some exist with KVM/IPMI, then it would be fine, but there are barely any low cost/low power options :)

Oh :( I thought you have Singapore DC as well? Or the location is a bit too expensive? Does something like TinyPilot works?

Green cloud emm,as far as I'm concernerd, they have a bad reputation of resource limit,i.e they may shutdown your server when you have a high resource consumption

  • Hetzner 13500 €44.00/M,seens that the best choice?I have a 13500T in my home, running Android emulator very well.

OVH has the KS-Game-1 (i7-4790K) for roughly $22 USD - order link

OneProvider have the same CPU but with 32GB & in Germany for $38 USD - order link

Nocix also have the 4790 non-k edition for $30 USD - order link

All of these have a worse iGPU compared to the i5-6500t but the CPU performance is better.
