    I don’t recommend 1 vCore dedicated VDS

    reason is simple
1 core HT is not independent of other HT of the same physical core.

if VDS is needed, go for 1 physical core dedicated == 2 vCore Hyperthread

    Thank you for your feedback!

We appreciate your insights regarding the VDS configuration. Our VDS 1 package is designed to offer an affordable yet powerful solution for users who need a dedicated vCPU at a budget-friendly price. While it's true that 1 vCore is a single thread of a hyperthreaded physical core, this setup is suitable for many users with moderate resource demands.

For those who require higher performance and dedicated physical cores, we have an excellent alternative:

    VDS 2 Package Details:

Processor: Powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
    Dedicated vCPU: 2
    NVMe Disk: 400GB
    RAM: 8GB DDR4
    Bandwidth: 10TB/month
    Port Speed: 1Gbps
    IPv4: 1 included
Price: $16 (only $8 for the first month using the discount code LET50)

With our VDS 2 package, you'll benefit from 2 dedicated vCPUs, offering the performance of 2 hyperthreaded physical cores. This package is ideal for more resource-intensive applications and users who need greater processing power.

If you have any specific requirements or would like to explore more options, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. We're here to help you find the best fit for your needs.

Thank you for considering RackNode, and we look forward to serving you!

    Best regards,
    RackNode Team

It's even better to disable hyperthreading on the hardware level.
    This gives more predictable performance.

But it is not a good idea from marketing point of view

one vCore dedicated = one CPU core HT
    That terminology is marketing driven

one dedicated core with both its HTs should be the minimum for dedicated VDS.

Can I get a trial vds with 1 CPU core (marketing misleading term 2 dedicated vCPU) ?

  • still illogical! VDS 1 6$, VDS 2 12$ then VDS 3 should be 18$ because the specifications only triple from VDS 1 to VDS 3, or what accounts for the 2$ surcharge?
