I still wonder about the money the brute force bad guy paid to Slick and not get refunded. Is it justifiable to keep the money yourself you found illegally used and happened to be in your possession?
AFAIK most of provider will deny refund if the service is caught being illegally used, and it's justified, can be done in ToS too.

after following this thread, IMO the sentiment towards HostSlick still favor them. they're not right, but not completely wrong either. in this wild west of $7 hosting i wouldn't be surprised if the provider has to be an asshat too sometimes. people would be still in your side if the customer really doing port scan & brute force without being able to provide proof that they have proper written authorization, it's only something scummy, like some pest would do.
also i find it funny some people think by calling HostSlick out for banning China it'll cause them lose sales or something (no, they wont). most of people would see that as a pros, not a cons. those rats will always buy account and cry in LET whenever they get caught, as usual.
