their support is outsourced to chatgpt and its always out of bill limit so it doesnt work
My only service with VirMach right now is in Tokyo under xTom's network. Has been flawless since, and not a single ticket required.
But I've heard most of their other locations have some sort of problem from time to time. He usually posts in the OGF so you can take a look.
Did you push the TURBO button?
Thank you for reminding me that I mis that button.
you remind me to check my idle VirPS, and it's down now. Got to login to the panel to see what's wrong :d
Thank you for this wonderful thread title. Pure poetry.
That’s courtesy of an MJJ.
I got a dirt cheap dedicated machine from Virmach a few years ago, let it idle for a year and then forgot about by the time it was due for renewal. It expired in June 2022, and the last time their LET account was active was July 2022. Virmach suddenly went into free-fall right after that, and every mention of them since then has been one horror story after another. I'm honestly surprised they still exist.
None of my "pre-order ryzen" servers got actual IPv6 networking before its 2 year term expires. Virmach literally played dead when I asked him on OGF lol.
This is probably one of the reason why people would pay premium to purchase at experienced companies than "supporting small business / start-ups".
One of the worst companies ever.
think delimiter, etc.
GOOD LUCK!
It was one of the mystery of the 2022. Probably would never get solved.
he was solid for me till that point
in my mind it went like this. probably no where else did it go like this.
didnt pay and/or got kicked off colo so rn had room to work. tried to go from a hardware reseller to a hardware owner. didnt know forgot you needed thermal paste on the cpu. and so on...
looking back perhaps @ColoCrossing was the best thing that happened to Virmach
I'm surprised had an instance with them that was OK
