As for the IPv4 cost, we made it an extra because many clients preferred a cheaper IPv6-only option. This allows us to offer more flexibility and cost savings to those who don't need IPv4 addresses.

You need to hire a marketing person.

Make in bold, $2 discount for IPv6 option. That is far more positive way of saying the same thing.

Thank you for your feedback. Also, don't forget to sign up to get a free 3-day trial. Just register and send me a private message to set it up.

Are there any specific specs you are looking for?

    min 3 vCore (Geekbench 6: ~6000)
    min 8 GB ram (Ideally >= 10)
    min 100GB nvme
    Traffic 5 - 10 TB
Port ~2Gbps (Ideally but not a requirement)

Thank you for all the options you have listed
    I'll take a closer look.

Would you consider making it seven day trial for 2 vCore dedicated option?

Also, kindly ensure both the vCores are of same physical cpu core.

    Thank you.

PS - I do not recommend VDS 1 vCore from any provider. The reason is simple, cpu core HT is not independent from its counterpart HT.

There are many providers with well-priced offers
But few of them allow an average CPU load of 50 - 70%

I'm looking to replace a dedicated server in the next few weeks (CI Build server / CPU inference)

So I started compiling a list of providers (with locations in Europe) who offer virtual servers and who are clear about their CPU usage policy for this type of workload

    I have noted:

    • Hetzner (Dedicated vCPU line)
    • Layer7 (VDS line)
    • Netcup (rootserver)
    • Avoro (rootserver)
    • CherryServers (dedicated resources)

So many German providers in this list :p

Do you know of any others that offer products at good prices?

We should be able to offer this, 50-70% is fine with the 3vcores you mentioned if you let us know the invoice number, I will make sure it is noted internally for your service, you can find our pricing here: https://royalehosting.net/store/vps (NL only)

My vote for Layer 7. No contract bs, decent service and support.

Edit: what about @Advin ? They had VDS line up before, I can't find it now.

The cancellation rates on those are too low, so we have opted to just delist it on our site until we start shipping out more Ryzen VDS nodes in August

3 vCore for ryzen / recent epyc CPU
    With Xeon platinium I guess I need 6 / 8 vCore

Thank you, I'm considering this offer because I've had the opportunity to test your network and it's really good

Prometeus offers dedicated threads in the LPAR range. Also, in principle, 100% CPU usage is allowed for as long as it doesn't lock cores and creates steal (mining or similar).

LPAR is out of budget for CPU power I need
    KPower is out of stock
But Prometeus provides services that meet the quality standards sought here ;)
However, prices have risen slightly and people bought it all :'(

pm me with the plan you would like. I will see what can be done.

  • According to this reddit comment, which supposedly asked Hetzner's support, they allow 80% continuous utilization on their shared cloud servers, and honestly they're one of the best price/quality providers out there.

It's even better if you can use their ARM instances because they have higher performance than the equally priced Intel instances.

  • @ryanarp try a solid provider with good support here
