Why?
Plenty of fake stories on Reddit, users don’t have a clue about crypto as it’s not the same as fiat, so some decent BS stories on Reddit 🤡
I know how Crypto works, and know I can't just get refunds like with CC/PayPal/others.
but if a merchant blatantly scams me (with more than enough proof, including other people posting the same reviews) then I want that merchant to get banned from that crypto platform (in this case Cryptomus)
Here's a YABS of the machine I got by the way (not the initial plan as they switched it to their higher paying one for no reason, from less than $1/m to $4.5/m without even sending me a notification), the merchant blocked my tickets, blocked my email and prevented me from contacting them in any way, whilst Cryptomus insisted me to contact them through email.
Now with that YABS and this response, argue with me the NVMe speeds and network speeds of a plan I didn't even want. Thank you.

And my tickets.

Why should crypto processor regulate this kind of stuff? They just process the payments and end of the story. Want your money back, go sue provider who fucked up you. It is simple as that.
Never heard that any payment processor refunding/freezing crypto, unless the payment was made with stolen crypto and got AML warning.
I've used Coinbase first (2018-2019) and it was great but their fees are ridiculous so I switched to Blockonomics and then to Coinify.
From all three I can only recommend Coinify, they have great support.
We tested Coinify, it was good, we plan to try Cryptomus as well, support response time is not bad so far.
imagine using a centralized hosted gateway for crypto
it's like buying a rpi, putting it in a 2U rack and colocate it
I agree, Cryptomus doesn't respond to technical questions, even the status of the message is read.
Oh okay then, let's keep all the scammers operation running!
Do you really think that any payment processing company (e.g Stripe, PayPal, ...) just ignores and lets these people keep scamming unless you sue any of the parties?
I would be happy as long as Cryptomus blocked this merchant's account for blatantly scamming people, but neither they did that or refunded me.
There is big difference between them. Stripe/PayPal are accepting fiat and are regulated. You can issue chargebacks, etc.
Cryptomus and other crypto processors give zero fucks, if you get scammed. Especially then you buy something that is lower than 1k. They will wait until regulators/police/law enforce them to suspend X merchant. Before that they won't move a finger for you and your 5 bucks.
I don't care the currency, couldn't bother less for $3, at least ban the merchant. Why are you insisting in the refund thing?
Your shit just makes no sense. Why would we have abuse emails in IP blocks then? Let's wait for a lawsuit!
Why use a centralized crypto gateway when setting up your own is straightforward? People are getting used to paying in crypto for transactions, so fees are not a problem. If you don't trust BTC, you can easily convert it to USDT or USDC automatically.
Plisio is good, but nowpayments seems to be more smart which we try currently aswell out
@vinhais
SHKeeper — is the best
Self-hosted and open-source cryptocurrency payment processor. The combination of gateway and merchant. It allows you to accept payments in multiple cryptocurrencies without fees and intermediaries.
SHKeeper offers a direct way to receive BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, XMR, XRP, TRX, BNB, MATIC, AVAX, USDT (ERC20, TRC20, BEP-20, Polygon, Avalanche), USDC (ERC20, TRC20, BEP-20, Polygon, Avalanche).

The point is that crypto is highly unregulated, most crypto processors dont care if you get scammed. This is why most scam operations run on crypto.
If you care so much about your money use fiat which is well privacy wise not viable but is highly regulated and monitored by most payment processors (paypal, stripe).
That's why I only spent $3.
People don't learn, it's what I've learned over the last 3 years.
isnt usdt only available for $2000/year?
OpenSource alternatives often dont have some important currencies like usdt and sol, and if they do (like bitcart) it needs the user to enter their sender address which can be bad for UX
best option is to use a blend and some payment processors also send amount directly to your address or work by using your wallet directly using xpub

No. The open-source version allows you to use all the features of SHKeeper and all coins independently and for free.
We also have ready-made modules available for free to integrate SHKeeper if you are using WHMCS, WordPress, WooCommerce, Opencart, and a module for PrestaShop (will be available this week) and Magento (will be available within the next two weeks). These modules are available absolutely free. You can find them on the SHKeeper GitHub page of our open-source crypto processor.
If you need help with the installation and integration of SHKeeper from our side, this service is paid. Usually, it costs $2000 per year (our support will help you within this year with all tasks and questions). Also, we can discuss the price depending on your needs.
There is also an option to customize SHKeeper. You can either do this yourself or provide us with your requirements, and we will provide an estimate.

Want to share my .02 about Bitpay (as a customer).
Firstly, I pay crypto because I often get flagged for fraud by some systems despite using correct true account and billing details. Also, I don't want to send ID documents for KYC and risk identity fraud when some shitty ticket system/WHMCS gets hacked.
I've been frustrated with Bitpay lately because they now enforce logins just to pay an invoice, put you through several rounds of captchas and faux errors i.e. "oops! something went wrong" type errors, etc and are even strict on VPNs/proxies/Tor. Extremely frustrating to pay invoices.
I've also had a Bitpay payment "rejected" (NOT timed out) even though the transaction was sent and confirmed normally. The crypto was in their wallet, I don't even know what "rejected" means in this case. I had to request a refund through their ticket system which took over 48 hours to be processed. Coincidentally during a high period of crypto volatility after which the exchange rate was less favourable for me.
Most crypto payment gateways don't bother with extra steps like enforcing account creation or scrutinizing VPNs because crypto isn't reversible so there's really no way for the customer to defraud the host. And I've certainly never had a confirmed payment "rejected" by other centralised gateways including Coinify and Cryptomus.
For me, if I try a new host and their crypto gateway is Bitpay, they've lost a good customer.
As a host, unless you need automatic fiat converted payout, have some tax/legal reason, etc. just setup your own gateway like BTCPayServer or Shkeeper, both already mentioned above. Shoutout to @vsys_host for shkeeper
Thank you for mentioning us!
SHKeeper is a really cool decision if you want to use a non-custodial cryptoprocessor (that means self-hosted). It's open-source and offers a great list of coins.
But if the user do not have a large amount of crypto payments per month - a custodial processor will be a good option in such a case.
I'll give shkeeper a try, hope the documentation is good enough to get it up and running the first try.
Maybe CoinPayments or CoinGate can help you.
My experience with btcpay has been better than paid alternatives
If you need any help or documentation -> kindly, write us or contact me directly here
I will be more than happy to help
