[Review] SolidSeoVPS - Solid provider ?!
Provider: https://www.solidseovps.com/
@SolidSeoVPS
Disclaimer
This server was provided to me free of charge for 3 months.
I didn't ask for anything, it was a proposal made to me.
However, I have nothing to gain from posting positive review.
I first heard about SolidSEOVPS on this forum, I spoke to their support team when I was looking for a dedicated server with very specific specs. I found them extremely nice and accommodating.
A few months later, they contacted me to offer to test the product of my choice for 3 months.
Plan tested (Promo VPS):
EPYC- 16GB
16GB RAM
4 EPYC cores ( 2 dedicated, 2 fair-shared cores)
120GB NVMe RAID 10
8TB @ 10Gbps port
1 IPv4
IPv6 /112
90/YEAR
NL | UK | LA | TX | AZ | TPA | TOR
I used this server to setup kubernetes and train myself on it.
I monitored the server with HetrixTool and UptimeKuma during these 3 months.
Uptime: 99.99%
And in fact I think it could have been 100% (excluding reboot for kernel upgrade) but...
There was a problem to be quite transparent, there was a change of IP of my server and I was warned only a few hours before the change.
Without that, the uptime would have been 100% and the experience perfect...
I think and hope that I was unlucky and that it's not common with them. But I had to mention it.
Apart from that, server performance was extremely good, both in terms of CPU / Disk / and network performance.
I wasn't able to record a single CPU steal spike even in periods of somewhat intensive use.
Disk performance is insane.
YABS (IO fetishists will love this)

In short, a great performing server.
What I like:
- Very nice staff, all the interactions I had with them, even before the test, were very pleasant.
- 10 Gbps network
- Performance - No overselling
- Clear & great offers - Dedicated % of CPU is mentionned
- Multiple locations
- Wide range of products
- Stability & uptime
- Seems to have been in business for a long time, I don't have an eye on their finances but it's still reassuring.
What I think could be improved:
- If the IP is changed, users should be notified well in advance.
The website could be improved.
There are lots of products, it's great. But not all products are available in all locations.
It's hard to see what's available in Europe and what's not.
In short, it could be clearerI think it would be a good idea to add a page specifying which datacenter is used for each location.
I like to know where my chicken is
To sum up, I highly recommend it, at least for the location I tested (the Netherlands).
I'm even thinking of renting a server of this type from them at the end of the year, when the time comes to renew my contracts.
It could easily replace several smaller ones I have elsewhere.
The quality is there and it will simplify software maintenance to have fewer servers.

This is a good provider, the vps performance is very good, and they have a vps discount in July. I bought one a few days ago and it's in good condition
@remy , thank you for reviewing our service. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions, as it helps us improve the quality of our service.
Said this a few times in SolidSeo threads, but great provider. Never had A problem with them for the past few months. Been the best I ever used so far with 100% uptime.
Same location I tested ? (Netherlands)

Lol is that background Nusa Penida?
If so, beautiful island but it's getting ruined by too much tourism and pollution. I preferred Nusa Lembongan.
That is just a dynamic background picked by Windows 11 Enterprise OS.
And yes, it seems to be Nusa Penida

It has been an excellent service provider for more than 8 months without any interruption in its offer that is mentioned here, 100% recommended. https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/192644/64-95-m-ryzen-dedicated-server-8gb-epyc-deals-starting-60-year/p1
i got a 1 year windows vps earlier from them. i already like them for what i got at cheapest rate.
Any 7$/y flash deals to celebrate the success @SolidSeoVPS ?
Agreed, would love to see some sub $10/year deals from SolidSeoVPS. Bring on the BF deals!
I have had far too many windows vps with them over the years waiting for me to pull my finger out and make that million pound saas in my head.... Great servers and support. Still can't see my finger though
Sure, let us know what you'd like us to bring for the next BF, and we'll make it happen!
Something like your KVM-2G or LNX-CS-2GB for $10/year (or if you want to promote the meme then go for $7/year). Or do the 2G variants for $10/year but make one of the 1G options at the $7/year mark to cover all your bases. I would stipulate that these are unmanaged servers and that at these prices support is going to be limited to minimize any bad actors/abusers that might try to take advantage of the deal.
Already renewed their last bf sale windows vps, best service and uptime experience so far.
