Review after a whole year of using AlbaHost's services
Specifically, the 11th (sorry that I'm a little bit late!) marks a whole year of using AlbaHost's VDS services. After this much time, I'm here posting a full, detailed and shill-proof review about my experience with them.
As a disclaimer, this review is not endorsed, nor pre-approved by @AlbaHost by any means. I've not gotten free stuff or anything like that for making this review, this comes out from real
as I consider small providers doing great work should get more attention.
TL;DR: Many people may not be aware of @AlbaHost since they've been under the radar for a while, but that doesn't mean such hidden gems of providers don't exist. They're amongst the best choices you can make for performance-price ratio, and with good flexibility (in my opinion). And I'm not talking about a single-man operation host, but a host that has a whole team, even in different countries, offering their best.
Now, here it comes, the detailed review. Everything marked as spoiler are the relevant screenshots.
At first, I didn't even know about @AlbaHost's existence, since they usually just lurk around here and on the OGF. In the middle of a conversation about using proxies to bypass ads in certain platforms, I got a DM from them offering me a trial if I wanted to, and sure I went for it.

This trial was offered to me in their (only at that time I suppose) Warsaw 🇵🇱 location (can't remember which plan I got for the trial since I only got login credentials, but I suppose their first plan which is 1 dedicated Ryzen core and 4 GB RAM basically)
After trying it out for a few hours and seeing it works perfectly for my use case, got one and went all in, paid for a whole year. They seemed very trustworthy to me (since 2008 and in LET since 2014) and their team has been super nice to me. And I don't regret it, I've recently paid for my second year with them and will continue to do so for as long as possible.
I've also never heard of a hosting provider based in Albania (not their servers though, the company) and though why not.
Couple months past by, and they tell me that they also have KVM nodes in Frankfurt 🇩🇪 which I didn't know about, and as I basically needed those VMs for their geolocation (Geo 🇦🇱) and after seeing my great experience with Warsaw 🇵🇱 so far, got one in Frankfurt 🇩🇪 as well.
I didn't run anything heavy on those since I didn't need to, but as one of my home servers crashed (advice, don't run RAID 0 YOLO mode), and was lazy to fix it, I moved my containers and some heavy stuff to those VMs to offload my main small server.
Until here, everything has been flawless, both Warsaw 🇵🇱 and Frankfurt 🇩🇪 worked perfectly for me. I have to clarify that, with any provider, there's routine maintenance that needs to take care of, and unexpected outages, and @AlbaHost is no exception. Warsaw 🇵🇱 has been flawless since the beginning (as of today, 374d of uptime) but Frankfurt 🇩🇪 (which was relatively new) suffered a little bit from DDoS attacks (which were quickly mitigated and has been flawless since) and some network-related issues outside their control.

A few months later they also tell me about the availability of KVM nodes in Eygelshoven 🇳🇱 as well, with a beast CPU and 10 Gbps (Ryzen 9 7950X).
I was going to get a second one in Frankfurt 🇩🇪 either way, so why not have redundancy in locations too.
Unfortunately, the first weeks didn't go perfectly, and I couldn't really blame then since shit happens, and a whole new location means a lot. I didn't monitor the VM yet since it was brand new and I usually wait a few days for me to get it setup, but got a few notifications about an outage and planned maintenance alerts to fix some stuff.

But hey, didn't expect it, but everyone affected by the outage got a whole month for free as compensation ![]()

Now, after yapping for a while, here's a few benchmarks & uptime screenshots.
I'm in the middle of migrating my monitoring stuff away from UptimeRobot & setting up Nezha, so sorry I don't have uptime records for Frankfurt 🇩🇪 or Eygelshoven 🇵🇱.
Here's the uptime of Warsaw 🇵🇱 (100% since I purchased it)

Here's a YABS of Frankfurt 🇩🇪 & Warsaw 🇵🇱 done in April
Here's a YABS of Eygelshoven 🇳🇱 done at the time of release (May)
Updated YABS of Frankfurt 🇩🇪, Warsaw 🇵🇱 & Eygelshoven 🇳🇱 done today.
nws.sh network tests (GLOBAL, ASIA and EUROPE) of Frankfurt 🇩🇪, Warsaw 🇵🇱 & Eygelshoven 🇳🇱 done today.
And lastly, here's all the paid invoices.

Thanks to everyone who did read all this. @AlbaHost has been a flawless company to work with for the past year.
(please add location picker in your website pls pls pls)
