  unless you want to run up to 1.8.9 version, I wouldn't use Contabo.

  I wouldn't even recommend the first version of MC multiplayer with Contabo. My server couldn't even hold 20 tps with 0 players on and opening a chest took a second to load the items in it. When I switched providers all my lag was fixed. This was running ATM9, new provider is also using Epyc. (SolidSeo)

  My Contabo VPS has high CPU steal nowadays, When VPS was new it worked well. After a month performance degraded a lot and I used to use RDP it started to lag, and Apps started to hang

  Nahh tried for few months (VPS 1 pkg) and later noticed the performance dropped spontaneously. Just usual behavior of Contabo service.
