Went ahead and placed an order! Order Number: 2398013462
I signed up for a month back in May but never really got a chance to test and forgot about it, so again I shall try!
Brothers in Crane,
Have a wonderful day.
Forgot to put my order confirmation for contest: 2389247736
u did it!?! 👍
Yeah, I put my trust in @Francisco and @NameCrane that everything will be good with my websites.
Actually, I ordered the service and after 2 days I read again the first post and I saw that I can get more entries for the contest, lol.

Fran's been working this weekend. Would love some testing and feedback..
Please do. Another user had an issue with incomplete backups downloading, but I can't replicate it on our nodes (nor has anyone had such an issue pulling down huge cPanel backups either). Pretty sure it's an issue on his side (or I need to increase a timeout if his sides being that slow).
Anyway, feedback please

Awesome! It's the time to migrate sites from your resellers to my own account.
I am looking for SG shared hosting from top tier providers. Any ETA of your SG location ?
Latency to India should be below 100ms . @Francisco @NameCrane
@labze is on the preferred list but their ping times are more than 150ms for the reasons not known to me. Also some people warned me to not put anything on Contabo servers .
We're still a couple months out. Even if I got a rack ordered today I'd need time to build, pack, ship, & deploy the nodes. The company we're looking at is ~80ms even deep into India. Closer to SG it gets as low as ~50ms?
We recently got approved by ICANN so we're working on that as well.

Quick unofficial frank uncomprehensive casual short-term no-specs flyby don't-quote-me review:
I have tried out @NameCrane services and I have to say they are quite simply the best shared hosting I've ever tested. Performance was excellent in my brief time, but the thing that surprised me the most was the responsiveness, professionalism, and knowledge of the staff, given the pricing model of the service. This is highly unusual in my experience. If they can actually keep that up long-term, they will be setting a very high bar indeed. So big tip of the hat to the whole @NameCrane team, bravo, and well done!
I can't honestly speak to the long-term reliability of course, but my brief experience has demonstrated the high level you can achieve for a very reasonable price. They will be receiving my vote next year as among the Best of LET.
This unofficial quick review is purely motivated by my positive but honestly limited experience with them, and therefore YMMV of course. And also, please don't count this post as an entry into the giveaway, I didn't read the rules so it may not qualify anyway. No giveaway is necessary to convince me this is a quality service that is managed by knowledgeable and nice people, and worth every penny. BTW I'm not normally in the market for shared hosting services, but if I need them, I now know where I will get them. And I look forward to their domain services when they are good and ready for launch.
Thanks for the signup and review
If in time you could add something on Trustpilot, we'd greatly appreciate it.

Regarding plan purchases, do renewals count? I have 10 active Namecrane services (check Invoice #5181 to know who I am), and maybe doesn't count but it's whatever. You can gift me some upgrades if you feel like celebrating

I think Mike's only counting for new signups since posting
In 'Product Update' news, we've changed the RAM limits on the budget resellers to 2GB across the board. It used to be 1G/1.5G/2G, but it was always derpy due to how Cloudlinux does things. It was just easier to normalize it.
As mentioned earlier, we've been approved by ICANN to sell domains! We have to finalize a couple more forms for them (literally just waiting on Logicbox to confirm things) and we're off to apply to Verisign and the likes.

Nice news:
Brothers in Crane
Did you try cPanel or DirectAdmin?
fwiw, the hardware and software stack is basically identical - aside from the panel itself

Is domain reselling going to be a thing?
cPanel, but I expect it would have been just as excellent with DirectAdmin.
Yes, it's actually our biggest priority to roll out - as we've got a number of hosts wanting to move thousands of domains from other reseller programs/etc. So we'll likely get that going first, possibly before we open up end user registrations.
hey @Francisco show us your crane?
how does it look today
Feeling magestic.
