Anything can not be really not be used or not used. Depends on usability but not unusability.
Exactly. It's just that easy. Disallowed usage. Case closed. The only hope for OP would be to get granted an exception but i'm not 100% certain if lowend helpdesk has the power to do so.
.
I doubt they would bother if you use their servers to host an idk, minecraft server for you and your friends only, but I rather see that clause as if they don't want you to host public game servers due to DDoS attacks and others.
ToS says no gaming and no streaming.
We have uploaded Macromedia Flash games on GreenCloud.
We have been streaming push-ups through GreenCloud.
They haven't deleted anything in two years.
What constitutes a gaming server? You can play games over the DNS and SSH protocols
Have to ask the provider that question..
Playing Oregon Trail is forbidden by the ToS, sure it seems silly, but their network, their rules I suppose....
In general: No game servers allowed. In some particular cases when the game server is private, does not attract DDoS, complies with our CPU Usage policy then it should be fine like @yoursunny mentioned.
