It seems to be a great deal bandwidth-wise. I'd keep it if it's stable and I couldn't find a better deal to replace it.

If you have brought it cause FOMO, continue
If you have cash to burn on idlers, continue
If you have real world use, why this question?
If you have multiple idlers, share all configs so we can suggest which to continue idling

  • vps location?

This is from Advin, I've also one, thought many times cancel it but couldn't :) Now it's running some monitoring tools; most to come...

  • no matter who the vps is from, my point was whether you should hold or reject the box with the specifications.

Seem a good box for Hentai@Home node with 330TB/month
If you get rid of it , i might take it for it

  • before it gets out of hand, i'm keeping the vps!

Keep it if you actually have a use for it, cancel it if you don't.

For reference, I canceled mine from Advin a while back ($8/32gb). It wasn't stable enough for production so it was left idling for over a year, so I basically donated >$100 to the Advin foundation.

Sorry to hear about your prior experience. We've grown a lot since those days, now with our own racks, hardware, network, etc. I'll issue you with $200 of Advin account credit if you PM me your email, if you want to give us another try.

You dont need that, you only need $1 DA promo, its enough.

That's super generous, thank you for the offer. Though no need to credit me anything, it was my FOMO that led me down that path. I've been a customer of yours for two years, and despite my experiences, I still recommend your services to my friends, since you've been constantly improving (I follow your progress on Discord) and have some amazing prices.

Here's a small list of problems I ran into *in the past*, which are hopefully resolved by now: IPs goes missing, server won't boot / fs read only mode, network down, missing resource allocations, locked / inaccessible control panel, etc. And since you're a two-person crew, these problems often took a week to resolve (but you always offered SLA)- the slow support's been my one biggest concern for a production environment.

However, I'm content with my prior financial support towards your business's growth, and maybe in the future when a new need arises, I'll give your services another try. And to anyone who may be reading this, this is not meant as a negative review, as Fro has mentioned, they've improved a lot, so hopefully your experience will be significantly better than mine.

Yeah, these problems have generally been resolved. Support response times have been greatly improved as well, and we’ve made major changes internally :) For critical issues, we aim for a response time of a few hours at maximum.

I’m always looking to take in feedback and make things right for people with prior negative experiences. Back then, we had nowhere near the level of infrastructure that we have now.

If anyone has ever had a negative experience with us, please feel free to PM me, I’ll try and make it right with you.
