Update on Path.Net vs Cologix
Let’s keep things calm and peaceful, but I’ve got a small update on something interesting. The lawsuit filed by Cologix against Path Networks Inc is still active, contrary to popular belief in the community that it had been dropped. According to court records, Cologix is having difficulty serving Path Networks Inc. Despite being two months past the deadline, they have obtained an extension from the judge.

Whats the dispute? More unpaid bills?
What is making it so difficult to serve them?
Yes, the dispute is about Path's debt with Cologix.
From what I know, not only is Path evading the serve, but Cologix is serving Path incorrectly and poorly.
From my understanding, they are trying to sue Path Networks Inc., which is incorporated in Nevada, rather than the branch of Path Networks Inc. incorporated in Arizona. Oddly, they seem to be attempting to serve the registered agent for the Arizona branch. Additionally, Cologix is a Canadian company, which complicates the situation further.
You can view Path’s unusual incorporation structure at this link:

I see. I'd think all this registered agent stuff would make serving relatively easy but then i don't really know anything about the US laws around this. Not like any of this matters anyways when trying to serve the wrong person.
Don't worry, you are not alone. It seems Cologix lawyers don't know the law either
Well, one would think that if it's worth a civil suit to them they'd actually get a lawyer, which does (aka an US lawyer...) but maybe they had different priorities (whatever those might be), who knows?
In my state, corporations and LLCs are required to have a registered agent just for this purpose. The whole point is that you can't avoid document service. Cologix gonna have a legal malpractice claim against their lawyers if they can't figure out such a simple thing.
Link expired to documents
I’d be extremely suprised if the answer is that Cologix lawyers don’t know how to properly serve a document.
It works for me.
That's likely what it is occurring from the little you can piece from these documents. Please refer to this comment.
@Vexelia common sense tells me that’s not what’s going on
You seriously think several lawyers, for months, have been trying to learn how to serve a document, and nobody at cologix thought about changing lawyers?
It’s likely a tad more nuanced.
With all the shit I've seen in my 6 months of working somewhere people are mega retarded sometimes. But I agree with you. This shit can't be that "simple" for a lack of a better word.
Yeah, for sure, but let’s not forget these people likely spent years in law school and probably have even more years of experience.
If they are "old", yes but I've seen video's of current law students who play minecraft or cod in class
we are doomed.
same. it says This content is no longer available.
op need to mirror the pdf so it's not just linking to discord.
“For your exam to pass the bar, you must accurately determine what weapon killed the player in Warzone. Bonus points if you can accurately determine the type of sword and enchantments used to kill a Zombie in Minecraft. Please explain your answer in only 5 memes with a limit of 8 emojis or less.”
We did some digging into this on our end before bringing them as a on-net provider for our customers a few months back.
As far as I am aware its a Cologix fuck up with mis communication with their internal legal. I expect to see this be dropped in the coming days/week.
Marshal claims another victim
Oke, hear me out. We have much proof that Path doesn't like to pay bills. What if they also haven't payed their registered agent so the registered agent isn't accepting the stuff for Path because Path aint paying them
Then the registered agent is doing a really shit job, if the registered agent is no longer serving their client with papers they need to resign themselves of being an agent for that specific entity.
Actually this is a common misconception even here in Canada, They are US company with HQ in Denver, Colorado

Here is a new one
Cologix has filed a lawsuit against Path.net for over $58,000 in unpaid bills, highlighting potential financial difficulties for Path.net, while Cologix continues to expand its data center operations; interestingly, this case underscores the critical importance of maintaining financial health in the competitive tech infrastructure industry.
